Oh man oh man!! I’m so glad we finally decided to come to this hidden gem and try out the BBQ. The brisket is hands down the best I’ve had so far. The rub and smokiness are on point. This guy definitely knows what he’s doing. The meat was so tender and packed with flavor. The BBQ sauce was a great addition to the meat. Not the best I’ve tasted but definitely compliments the food well. Prices are fair compared to other BBQ places I’ve tried. The smoked turkey was so juicy and tender. Definitely will be coming here again and hopefully try the micheladas next. I highly recommend this place. The staff was pleasant and the atmosphere felt very homely and welcoming. Do yourselves a favor and try this place out. Your stomach and taste buds will thank you for it.
Don't let other people issues change your mind about this place, this is family owned and the service and food are phenomenal. Never had an issue and I've been client for the last 2 yrs.
If you don't have time during lunch then plan to come another time since is busy (for a reason).

Love their BBQ chicken and brisket. Their potato salad and green beans are so good. Their salads are always fresh. They have their vegetable beef soup which is also delicious. Baked potatoes are excellent. Awesome deserts as well. Great service and fast drive thru. Best tea .

I wanted a BBQ pulled pork sandwich or some Brunswick stew and they had neither but friendly staff recommended BBQ sliders. It was great with side of fries. Served it up quick with a Pepsi not a Coke lol
Only wish they would open up again. It’s been closed for a year now and it is really sad. Open back up please!!! San Antonio is actually opening up, so please open back up the commerce location…. The city employees are actually back to work now please please please open up your downtown location. Permanently closed up this location!!! Was informed that they were not going to reopen this location!!!
Great home style barbecue and fried chicken for a reasonable price. Fast, friendly service with a comfortable atmosphere. I got rice when I asked for fries, and they fixed it right away and also gave me a free dessert.
Foods great, just like the staff member. This is my good to bills when I'm at work. I'm not sure why they have so many bad reviews on here because I never had a problem they wouldn't fix since 3 years of going here. Thanks for your service!
I always like the breakfast tacos and sweet tea from Bill Millers. I particularly like this location and the proximity to the Courthouse..its right across the street basically on the other side of the church. Anytime I have to go back to the courthouse, I know I dont need to rush for breakfast before hand because Bill Millers is literally right there.
Ok this is my 2nd time reviewing a Bill Miller's, there must be something wrong with me. But seriously, this Bill's is good, the only downside is that due to the central downtown location, it's always jam-packed at lunchtime. Upside is you may run into someone you know. Bonus points for being the only 2-story Bill Miller's I've ever seen. Suggestion: make it easier to take stuff from the condiment bar to go. Little plastic tubs or something.
Good prices and good food. This location has two floors so there is plenty of space during lunch. The daily specials are priced great for lunch if working downtown.
This is a very popular place during lunch hour. But the service is always great and pretty fast. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone. And there's seating upstair as well.
