Taqueria Aguascalientes

I now go once a week for dinner, I love that they are open for dinner now. Also, they are open until 10pm. If you google their hours, it says they close at 7pm. Not sure what the disconnect is. I used to go for breakfast tacos when it was Aguas Calientes. I saw another review saying they “forgot “ their tortilla….big deal…ask for one…They are human and trying their best. Also, one of the cooks is the same cook from all the years it was Aguas. I wish they had margaritas, maybe they will come summer. They do offer beer. They will also make you something that is not on the menu if you ask (nicely) I hope they do well! Again, they’re open until 10pm!

This isn’t the same as the place it used to be before it became el guacamole :( they put a stupid amount of cheese into my chicken tortilla soup and then they forgot my tortilla. The tortilla soup is also extremely salty but it has a large amount of chicken in it. If you like a really, really salty chicken tortilla soup, then this would be great for you. 🤢

quick, conveniently located mexican restaurant with good quality food. we were sat immediately for lunch and quickly got chips and salsa. chips are fresh, and the salsa has a nice roasted flavor. it could be a bit spicier though. I got cheese enchiladas verdes that comes with spanish rice and refried beans. the enchiladas had a flavorful sauce to it, and were a decent portion. the rice and beans both are solid and the dish comes with a good amount. the plate was the perfect portion. meal came with flour and corn tortillas too. the food is cheap, and is a good place for a quick, delicious meal.

Great food at good price. They brought chips and good homemade salsa right away and the service was fast and friendly. I had the daily special crispy taco plate and my wife had a taco salad. Tacos were tasty. The salad was very well constructed with plenty of toppings. Just what you want in a great Mexican food lunch meal!
