Mr. C's Fried Chicken & Waffles - San Antonio - Photo album

I had a delightful experience at Mr. C's Chicken and Waffles! I ordered the fried chicken and pecan waffles, and they were fantastic. They have chocolate chip, red velevet, cinnamon, pecan, and blueberry. I opted for the pecan waffle. The waffle was light and fluffy, and the pecans added a perfect t
Treated my family here for brunch recently and I can most definitely say it was exquisite. Delicious and authentic Chicken & Waffles with great customer service and a warm, comfortable atmosphere! The biscuits and gravy (not pictured) was also really tasty! I plan to visit again soon.
First time here, but it won't be my last. It was a bit busier than I expected for lunchtime on a Friday. I came for the chicken fried steak after having seen a post about it, and I wasn't disappointed! The gravy is unique in that it has sausage chunks in it, like you'd get w a good biscuits and g
My wife and I decided to try this place out again after having a good experience the first time. We came in and we were greeted by one of the hostess , who also ended up being our waiter. We got our diabetic sweet tea and 2 number one’s, 3 piece, chicken of your choice and waffle of your choice of
This was just what I needed! Everything was fantastic! Sweet tea was spot on. Super crispy chicken without being dry. I also ordered a Monte Cristo that was a 10/10. Will be back to try the fried green tomatoes and pie!
We came here on a whim after seeing the taco spot next door was packed, as we weren’t feeling like eating around a crowd, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted fast and served cornbread as an appetizer. Cornbread was hot and delicious, but what really wowed us was our entrées. My boyfriend o
Was in town visiting and 1st time trying this spot... it did not disappoint! Had the fried chicken skins, fried smothered pork chops, cole slaw, and green beans. The fried chicken skins could've been fried harder for my liking, but flavor was good and portion generous. The pork chops were thick and
Pleasantly surprised...I have overlooked this eatery since it opened thinking it was only basic chicken tenders and waffles. I was craving chicken fried steak and Googled what was near me. This place had rave reviews so I had to try for myself. Food did not disappoint. The white gravy has a kinda s
This is probably the best southern comfort food we have ever had. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The portions were perfect! Probably the best breakfast I have ever had, NY husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and fried okra which he rated it a 9.9! I could not have been more impress
Good Southern comfort food. Lots of sides to choose from, breakfast served most of the day. Food was solid, customer service was excellent. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit.
Our first time here and we ordered chicken tenders and waffles 🧇, and chicken fried steak. The sides were good and the complementary corn bread was a delicious surprise. The food was good, and the service was fair. The prices were a bit "up there." Being close to Valentines, it was cute to have the
Cute little restaurant, with good music. I had the fried chicken with Mac n cheese and collard greens and an order of shrimp and grits. The fried chicken is excellent. Light airy not greasy at all with good flavor not overwhelming seasoning. The shrimp and grits were my favorite. Wonderful notes of
The food was good. Sweet tea was super sweet but perfect. The service was not too great. Our waitress did not check on us she was also not checking on her other tables.
The chicken fried chicken and the wings are the best. Pictured are pork chops (very tasty, but not as good as the chicken fried chicken) and the biscuits and gravy plate. Angelica was our waitress both times we were there and she is excellent! We will be back!
The cornbread was so delicious! I had both the jalapeño and the regular. The jalapeño is not spicy at all. The cabbage side was so flavorful. The cream corn was good. The chicken I will say needed more flavor, but it wasn’t bad. I’d definitely go back at some point to try their fried green tomatoes
My 1st time coming to this establishment. My cousin & her friend had already been before so I was excited to see what it was all about. I am a foodie so it was nice to try something new. I loved the Nostalgia with the Coca-Cola glasses as well as the mason jars filled with the Kool-Aid. The mimosas
Listen…..This is the best restaurant San Antonio has to offer hands down. Literally everything on the menu is delicious. The customer service is impeccable. We came down for work and my crew and I ate Mr. C’s every night! The manager Jennifer is my new best friend. She treated us so well. Do yoursel
