I had a delightful experience at Mr. C's Chicken and Waffles! I ordered the fried chicken and pecan waffles, and they were fantastic. They have chocolate chip, red velevet, cinnamon, pecan, and blueberry. I opted for the pecan waffle. The waffle was light and fluffy, and the pecans added a perfect touch of sweetness. The fried chicken was lightly battered with a crispy skin and delicious flavor. I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to return and try other items from their menu.

Treated my family here for brunch recently and I can most definitely say it was exquisite. Delicious and authentic Chicken & Waffles with great customer service and a warm, comfortable atmosphere! The biscuits and gravy (not pictured) was also really tasty! I plan to visit again soon.

First time here, but it won't be my last. It was a bit busier than I expected for lunchtime on a Friday. I came for the chicken fried steak after having seen a post about it, and I wasn't disappointed! The gravy is unique in that it has sausage chunks in it, like you'd get w a good biscuits and gravy. The waitress recommended the sautéed cabbage and mashed potatoes as sides, so I went with it. Everything came out piping hot and fresh, a good trade-off for a bit longer than usual wait. The cabbage was sooo delicious, with little chunks of bacon & sausage mixed in! The mashed potatoes were a bit dry and bland, so I might switch that out next time. But again, the star was the gravy & CFS! Crispy, light, with tender meat. Not too many "breading only" pieces ,the meat filled the crust perfectly. The crust itself doesn't have much flavor, but gravy makes up for it. More importantly, cant get over how hot, temp-wise, all the food was. 🔥👍 I will say that the only issue was that the 2 waitresses seemed like too little when one of them also became the cashier. I can see why other people may have commented on the "service" in other reviews. All in all, come here if you want fresh, homemade food and friendly service. It's not 'fast food', it's delicious comfort food! ❤️👍

My wife and I decided to try this place out again after having a good experience the first time. We came in and we were greeted by one of the hostess , who also ended up being our waiter. We got our diabetic sweet tea and 2 number one’s, 3 piece, chicken of your choice and waffle of your choice of topping. We paid $47 for our meal and we weren’t disappointed with the serving size. To-go boxes were definitely needed.

This was just what I needed! Everything was fantastic! Sweet tea was spot on. Super crispy chicken without being dry. I also ordered a Monte Cristo that was a 10/10. Will be back to try the fried green tomatoes and pie!

We came here on a whim after seeing the taco spot next door was packed, as we weren’t feeling like eating around a crowd, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted fast and served cornbread as an appetizer. Cornbread was hot and delicious, but what really wowed us was our entrées. My boyfriend ordered the tenders and waffle with a side of gravy, and I ordered the fried catfish with a side of mac and cheese. When I tell you everything tasted on point, it did. I don’t normally leave reviews, but we both loved this place so much that we decided we had to. Everything came out hot and fast, and the flavor has got us wanting to come back once a week. Portion sizes are very generous. We will definitely look forward to coming here again!

Was in town visiting and 1st time trying this spot... it did not disappoint! Had the fried chicken skins, fried smothered pork chops, cole slaw, and green beans. The fried chicken skins could've been fried harder for my liking, but flavor was good and portion generous. The pork chops were thick and HUGE, I ordered fried onions to top and chose the white gravy. Meat was flavorful and tender, excellent! The green beans were delicious and some of the best I've ever had. They were seasoned with garlic, onions, and diced tomatoes. Cole slaw was on the sweeter side, good but not my fav. Their complimentary corn bread...AMAZING! It was my birthday, I was offered a free dessert, so I picked a generously sized slice of sweet potato pie. Flavor was good, but not a spiced as I typically prefer. Texture was smooth and not too sweet, a solid choice. Service was outstanding. Definitely give Mr. C's a try!!

Pleasantly surprised...I have overlooked this eatery since it opened thinking it was only basic chicken tenders and waffles. I was craving chicken fried steak and Googled what was near me. This place had rave reviews so I had to try for myself. Food did not disappoint. The white gravy has a kinda sweet taste to it...wasn't crazy about it, but is was good. The sides were better than expected!!!! The cabbage was my favorite and it was delicious! The yams were good and flavorful. Not Big Mommas Sunday dinner good, but good enough for second. The mac & cheese was average. It was cheesy and creamy but with the other good eats I was expecting baked mac & cheese like T'giving. Overall, I give this place a solid 4. Next trip, I'm thinking meatloaf and trying some different sides and definitely a dessert!!! One last thing...I picked up my food, not ordered thru DoorDash and was charged $3.35 extra on my order...why is that?

This is probably the best southern comfort food we have ever had. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The portions were perfect! Probably the best breakfast I have ever had, NY husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and fried okra which he rated it a 9.9! I could not have been more impressed! Extremely sad the location will be moving so hurry in while it's close by!

Good Southern comfort food. Lots of sides to choose from, breakfast served most of the day. Food was solid, customer service was excellent. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit.
