Went to Block SA for lunch before a trip to Costco which is nearby. A variety of food trucks with ample outdoor seating in a pet friendly area on a day with good weather. The Clutch City Cluckers truck had an extra hot chicken sandwich option which was done well. The Venezuelan food truck, Zulia’s Kitchen, also had a great chicken sandwich with an awesome garlic cilantro mayo. The location has a bar on site with friendly bartenders and a decent variety of drinks.
We stopped in early on a Saturday afternoon and even though it seemed busy there was plenty of seating. The bar was attended by two very friendly bartenders. We ate at the bulgogi boys food truck but it was really hard to choose, all of the food looked and smelled amazing. I'm excited to go back to try the fried chicken place. The Korean street tacos were so good that my boyfriend and I have talked about them no less than ten times since we at there three days ago. They are flavorful and the tortillas were the literal best corn tortillas I've ever had. Incredible.
This is a good place to go for a variety of different foods. Every place I have eaten here is pretty good. You have to get a fruit pizza from the pizza place, they are great. I gave it four stars because it has limited parking, and the street right next to it has alot of crazy driving issues. Not the establishment's fault. There are people street racing on utsa blvd.
Great place to come and indulge in so many delicacies! Always a great atmosphere. Pet friendly! Went out the watch the Cowboys. It was a Mac n Cheese throw down! 7 food trucks with their own spin on the dish. They also got a really good Shwarma truck on the corner.
We came to UTSA to visit our daughter, and through a Google search, we stumbled upon The Block, which happened to be conveniently located next to her student housing. What started as a quick bite to eat turned into a delightful 4-hour experience. We couldn't help but soak in the wonderful atmosphere, enjoy the music, and appreciate the fantastic service. This place radiated such a fabulous vibe, and it truly made our family time special!
Was my favorite place to hangout in college. Always had a unique selection of food trucks. The drinks were also good and reasonably priced. Vibes were good and just overall a good place.
Nice place to come with family, some food trucks were open others close since they have different owner, please check for each food truck schedule individually before you go! I tried the Bull Gogi Boys food and it was amazing, just what I expected, the service was fine just another person taking orders nothing special! The bar was good, they have a special drink on a bag super tasty and cool!
The Block SA was a great place for the Twisted Peach Fest. Plenty of food trucks to be sure there were options for everyone to enjoy, ample seating, and the music was excellent - loud enough to be enjoyed but it didn't overpower the venue. (Come to think of it, the parking situation was a bit of a drag, but we found a spot relatively nearby, so it's all good.)
The Food was delicious here! I recommend you go on their Instagram to see which food trucks will be there. It was my first time today, and I'm definitely coming back again to try the other food trucks! They have a bar, some small heaters around the bar, so that was good because it was cold and windy that day.
This is a fun little spot to grab a drink, watch the game, and enjoy a bite of deliciousness from one of the food trucks parked on site. I went for Cousin's, but their spot was empty, so I checked out Curb's take on lobster rolls and kimchi fries. So good!
