When you first walk in, you think you've made a huge mistake. The place looks like a third world slop trough. But you notice the patrons are looking happy, the place seems lively and then you just might find a couple of employees eating at a table in the corner. So you choke back your apprehensions and place your order. Which may take a minute as the options are widely varied and somewhat surprising. When your order arrives you're immediately surprised at how everything looks somebody's mom made it. Not a commercial assembly line. A neighborhood kitchen. Made with love and heart. And then you get started. Inexplicably it tastes even better than it looks. And just keeps getting better with every bite. The portions are generous, the ingredients fresh and prepared with care. Clearly the people that work here eat here for a reason. And you know you'll be coming back. Soon.

Well i am from corpus christi.....so guess what! Boat Net is my favorite fish restaurant. I am very picky..and i fish if it fresh i wont eat it..this place Its very nostalga old building. Keeping this place simple, simple tables. But what counts is the food. The fish is great shrimp passes. For it is shrimp.. Cole slaw is just cole slaw but i will come and try everything else. Its rather high price. $12 to$ 25 dollers a plate depending on what you get but the #1 meal was pefect i am so full... now stuffed and full...i will come back...they only have cans sodas and ice tea...they give u plenty of tarter sauce and 1 lemon.

This is a fantastic spot. This was my first time here, and we had to order the food to go because we had other appointments to attend to. The restaurant was busy but very clean. They scored a 100 on their inspection. My partner and I both ordered the fish sandwich with fries and I wish I had taken a picture but couldn't wait to eat as soon as we got home. I had to smell the food in the car and there was no way I was going to wait any longer to eat. It was a large sandwich, the fish batter was crispy and flavorful. They gave us both a large cut of fish, it was bigger than the bun. Definitely a great value at an excellent price. I look forward to returning to dine in and try other items on their menu. I'll make sure to take some pictures then.
