Chaba Thai Restaurant

Best Thai food I've tried in San Antonio. I was reluctant in trying this place because of the reviews, but I learned the restaurant has new ownership. I'm glad I decided to give it a try because the food was amazing. The service was great. The waitress was very friendly and we barely had to wait for the food. We tried the beef fried rice, dumplings and Tom Yum chicken soup. The soup could have used more seasoning but that's nothing that can't be requested on the next time around. Can't wait to go back!

The food was good and the Service as well! There's nice Decor inside and definitely good for a date night. Even though we were there about 45 minutes before closing they were very happy to seat us and took care of us. It does not get a five for me only because the menu can have a little more options.

Great tasting food and service! I visited Chaba Thai a while back and was not impressed but decided to give it another try. To my surprise, there has been a change in ownership and everything is really good now! The service is a way faster and the food tastes great! I visited twice now and can say, from appetizers to entrees, everything has been delicious! I had the Thai fried rice, Pad Thai, fresh spring rolls with shrimp and the chicken satay thus far, and I will definitely be back for more delicious food. My only suggestion would be to step back on the seasoning just a tad, not on the spice, but the seasoning. Just a personal preference I am sure. Kudos to the new owners and their staff for turning Chaba Thai into what I am certain will be a great success!

I use to come here pre pandemic but unfortunately during the pandemic, like most restaurants, the food quality took a hit. I decided to give it a try today (June 2023) and the food was delicious and fresh. It’s nice having a good Thai place on this side of town. Give them a try! The boba and Thai tea were great as well. We will be back :)
