Chester's Hamburgers

Great place to get a burger made to your liking. They are locally owned. They have several TV for you to watch sports venues on, and generally have 1960s - 1980s music playing over the sound system. There is a pretty good selection of beer on the party case. As with anything meat based these days, prices have increased. Right now, a basic burger is ~$7. I hope you enjoy visiting this place as much as I do.

Let me say this first the service was outstanding nice cashiers and the cooks were friendly, the restaurant was clean tables were clean no greasy stains or grease drops, no sticky tables. Loved the classic neon signs and football on!!!! Now to the food I would not call them the best burgers in the state or in town, meat was just like salt and pepper seasoned, but it wasent bad it was still enjoyable if a friend would tell me hey let go to Chester’s I wouldn't say no, but their bacon was crispy and salty that’s how I love it, bacon was good, fries were delicious and onion rings were alright they were crispy tho which made me enjoy them, milkshakes amazing got the chocolate one I recommend it. Overall Chester’s is a decent place like I mentioned if someone invited me here I wouldn't say no, I give it 4/5 in general!

I can't give half a star but it would have one half star less for their use of Hunts ketchup instead of Heinz. Just kidding. Lol. Their food, service, and atmosphere were great. They were very polite, and each staff member asked if I needed anything as they walked by. The decor inside was very neat. The burger and fries I had were excellent! Maybe place napkins at the tables instead of the order pickup location. But other than that, it was a very good place to grab a very good burger! Definitely will go back when I'm in town!

First time here...Had 2 bacon cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings with 2 waters...$26ish. Good bacon cheeseburger, I would come back when craving one if I lived in town..lol. fresh cut fries and onion rings are a good portion, not to big or small cuz that burger is super filling, especially with that big poppyseed bun! Definitely worth trying if you've never been here!

We've been to a few other burger places here in San Antonio, and this one has been my favorite. The burgers are delicious, juicy, and the bread is also slightly toasted. The fries were not all that great, so we also ordered the onion rings, and THOSE are great. We'll definitely be back to try their malt shakes, too

I first ate at Chester's in 1992 and thought it was great back then. For some odd reason, i haven't eaten there in a long time. Today my kids were asking for a good burger and we just happened to drive by Chester's and i said, "hey they used to have good burgers" So we stopped in for a try. I'm happy to report they're still a dang good burger joint with fresh cut fries. My kids loved them as well. There is a reason why Chester's has been around as long as it has; they make a great burger! Highly recommended!
