More like 3.8 stars. Cute location, small but efficient. Used to live near the original location, so it’s cool to get a piece of that in south Texas. No seating indoors. Employee was pleasant. Absolutely love the chocolate cake but have yet to find something besides the cake that I’d rave about. Latest visit my new try was the pecan pie slice… it’ll satisfy the craving for it, but didn’t give me the feeling that it’ll be my go-to. Next time I’m in the area I‘ll probably go back for another cake slice.

As soon as I saw this spot I knew I wanted to try something. I was a huge fan of the show and have always wanted to try it. We got the Creme Brûlée Pastry Pocket, Cherry Cream Cheese Pastry Pocket, a Classic Cannoli, and a Chocolate Chip cookie. Everything had a rich flavor. More of an evaporative milk taste within the breading. Leaves you wanting another bite as soon as you walk away.

We were excited to visit Carlo's, we have been fans of the show. We had read the reviews prior to going so were prepared for the possible negative interactions with the employees. The guy who helped us was VERY friendly and smiled while interacting with us. The girl that rung up our purchases was very unpleasant and you could tell she just did not like our or anyone else's presence. We enjoyed the 3 Cannoli we got for a treat but agree with everyone, the prices are way too high for the quality. This will be our one and only visit, due to the prices.

Omg, when you walk in the taste of sweetness just fills your heart! Everything looks so delicious! In couldn't help myself and purchased way too much but man... WITH NO REGRET! Love how they sell pre-packaged slices of cake! The chocolate cake slice and the red velvet cake slice were AMAZING!!! I also got 2 peanut butter cookies for my husband and he LOVED them.

I got the 5 pack of cannoli ($20), rainbow cake with butter cream, and the sprinkle cookies. The cannolis were good but I might try another pastry next time I go. I was surprised the rainbow cake was very good. I got it for my daughter and she raved how it was so I took a bite it was delightful. I really should of picked up more cake slices. The cookies were ok but looked very cute. I would go back to try the red velvet and or carrot cake.

Ok to start off I tried to go here 3 separate times and ended up leaving because the line was wrapping around the mall and they were very limited what they had in the case due to demand. I decided to go as soon as they opened on a Wednesday and it was a better decision I was able to get a good assortment of goods. I have to say everything was really good especially the lobster tails by far my favorite! Also they have jelly donuts which a hard to come by or find good ones. I think this will be a regular stop once the traffic normalizes.
