The best Mexican food IMO. They use American cheese in the enchiladas so they stay melted and don't turn on to a block of cheese. So far I'm impressed with all the food.I have been going since I was a kid.

Who is Eddie exactly? I will lose it if this Taco house moves. I love, love, love this restaurant, just like I love the tacos. The tortilla they make is heaven sent. You know why Eddie’s Taco the best, because they make all the food from scratch themselves. We are so glad we found this little gem 💎!! Hands down to the cooks. We had a great experience, and Carolina our waitress made the service 1000x better with her attentiveness. Definitely coming back, this will forever be one of our stops while in the San Antonio area 😊🙌

My father used to bring me here many years ago before he passed away. He was a regular customer here. I forgot how good this place was. As soon as you walked in the door, it felt welcoming. It's a family atmosphere and probably the best customer service I have ever gotten. The food was so good. 3.99 for a Huevos Rancheros plate and a good-sized plate at that! I loved their tortillas so big and fluffy. My son had an enchilada plate with guisada, and the Carne guisada was so tender that it just melted in your mouth. Everything about this place was great!

As always went yesterday for lunch and the food was perfect, and the staff was very friendly, my brother ordered all the lunch specials, only the flautas were a little burnt, other than that the enchiladas, chalupas, and Gorditas were perfect, also the brisket comes shredded not sliced. And the prices still beat other places, especially if you decide to go before 10:30 AM

This place has always been the favorite spot to go to for the enchiladas. My mother-in-law and I we very pleased with the food and the friendliness of the staff. The only critique I have is that it took almost 30 minutes for us to receive our food. It was busy, but 3 tables seated after us with 2 or more people served before us, and they. But at least when it did come, it was hot and delicious.
