This is such a beautiful vineyard and restaurant! It is a very small restaurant with a nice view of the vines and wedding/event venue. The service and food were phenomenal! We were a bit underdressed, as our visit was not previously planned, but I would definitely recommend a reservation.
I got the Cajun Shrimp Eggs Benedict and was definitely not disappointed! My husband got the Chicken Pablano Alfredo, which was just as amazing. They had a nice wine menu with a good variety. Our server was wonderful, as was everyone we had talked to. Laurie, I believe her name was, also greeted us and chatted for a minute before we left. It was overall a very nice experience.
I recently had my wedding at OVV and would highly recommend them to any other brides. Their team was a well oiled machine on the day of the event. They made sure everything was taken care of and that we hit key timeline moments (cake cutting, introductions, etc.). The day of staff was awesome. We had a lot of good feedback from guests about the food and had several guests with food allergies. OVV accommodated without problem.
I would also recommend using their DJ (Patrick) and florist (Don). They all worked together beautifully. I always hear brides say this but it was truly a perfect night.

Wow, absolutely, amazing! Our waitress, Lory, was fantastic. She went above and beyond and provided us with outstanding service which is a rarity to experience in the current industry. The food was very delicious, portion was more than enough, and extremely fair pricing. Great assortments of wines from around the country and world. Dessert was ample for two people of share, again, they
do not skimp on quality or quantity. We high recommend Oak Valley Vineyard and very much hope you have the same outstanding experience my wife and I had this evening.
We hosted a rehearsal dinner in the outdoor pavilion for 70 people. The food was fantastic -- many of our guests raved about the meal! The pavilion is the perfect space for an event. There are tons of scenic areas for photos.
First of all I have to thank Laurie and Beth for their amazing help with planning and executing our rehearsal dinner. They overdelivered on what they promised and the food and experience was incredible. The venue for a rehearsal dinner and/or wedding would be amazing and I cannot recommend the atmosphere, the staff or the ambience enough. FYI if you’re planning an event around July time, when we were there scouting for venues the grapes were ripe on the vines which just added to the already amazing atmosphere. As a stand-alone restaurant the food is equally amazing. I highly recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding when available but everything is extremely high quality and incredibly delicious! This is by far one of the best restaurants in SA/NBTX area and I cannot recommend it enough!
Amazing! The food was just fantastic. Both of our meals were delicious! I had the crab stuffed flounder and my fiancé had the pecan crusted salmon! Could barely finish there was so much! And very reasonably priced! Such a sweet, relaxed yet romantic atmosphere and the staff is beyond friendly! So happy to have found this little gem! Highly recommend!!
We went during Brunch and was seat immediately and the wait staff was very professional courteous and accommodating with all. We wanted an item off Brunch menu and they were able to give us exactly what we ordered. We were treated with such great service we booked our family gift exchange with them.
Beautiful place, friendly helpful staff. The food was fantastic! Highly recommend the fried brie as an appetizer. Fiance chose the pecan crusted salmon, and had me taste it- I don't even like salmon but the way in which they prepared it with the pecans was fantastic tasting and negated salmon's usual distinctive fishy taste. I chose the blackened shrimp on a bed of cauliflower risotto and flash fried spinach- absolutely amazing! The flavors blended well with each other, but not so much as to be indistinct. The flash fried spinach melts in your mouth- quite literally. We went there to scope out a potential venue for our wedding rather than for wine tasting so I can't speak much on that aspect, but given the positive experience we had, I would be surprised if that wasn't great too.
Haley was awesome! Thank you for making our wedding anniversary special. Dinner was great, which included a great romance package for dessert! Day or night, their vineyards are absolutely beautiful to walk around and just enjoy the Texas Hill Country! Looks like they do events and large groups too! You gotta check ‘em out!
Our first time there and the service, food and atmosphere was terrific! We were a little surprised they don't make their own wine and a little disappointed that they don't offer wine tastings. It'd be so great if they did, then we could just purchase from them. However, the restaurant itself and grounds are pretty, the staff was very accommodating, the food was delicious and the Bloody Mary's were spicy! We were there for Sunday brunch.
