First time visiting, WOW! what a great place to go and have good food and fun. The staff was outstanding and the food was awesome! The venue has a great Texas history and is really good to see it being saved. I highly recommend this place for family fun and get togethers. Keep Texas strong visit Spechts.

I've been here twice and both times were wonderful experiences. First time, with my younger son's soccer team. We showed up unannounced and were very well cared for. Second time, with my older son's soccer team. A reservation was made this time and we showed up with quite a large group. The food was prepared quickly, the staff was very attentive and the live music was an unexpected element which added to the already enjoyable atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

The food was pretty good, but not amazing. The atmosphere is SO cute though! Outdoor eating with lots of space, a space for kids to run around, and a stage. I wish we could have dinner with the live music there! Great place to stop and eat!

We arrived just as the band started playing. The music was great, but it was too loud to have any conversation. Our service was slow, but our server was pleasant. The food was pretty good, but my friends said the burgers needed seasoning. There was no salt and pepper on the table. The fried pickles that we ordered as an appetizer were so salty that we couldn't eat them.

This was our second visit. We really enjoyed ourselves!! The food is really good and so are the drinks. We ordered a burger and a pulled pork sandwich, and the kids had the kids meal cheeseburger. The music was a little loud for our dog, but we managed. We live out of town so we couldn't leave her home. The only thing my husband mentioned was that the pulled pork sandwich would have been better with a sweet BBQ sauce. The onion rings were so good!! We will definitely be back!

This is a magnificent place and our family eats here often. There is a large outdoor space for dining and being entertained by live music on the weekends. With only one exception on a very busy night, the service has been exceptional, friendly, and fast. All the food is really good and served in significant portions. I usually alternate between a burger and the chicken fried steak. The citrus dressing on the salad is my favorite dressing in the world. Save room for dessert because the chocolate cake and cobbler (we like the peach) are delicious. The live music is always fun and some customers are almost always dancing. The kids love running around the lawn out back. We order the cold food to-go because she'd rather play than eat almost any day. When it's too hot, cold, or stormy, there is indoor dining at several (maybe 8-9?) booths inside. We love this place and hope to see you there!

After a long morning outside under the 105 degree temperature , we needed a drink and something to eat. We found Spechts and weren’t sure what to expect. Well, the food was actually very good and they had a nice selection of drinks to cool us down. The Burger, chicken avocado sandwich, onion rings, and salads were tasty. Ask about The story behind this location that dates back over 100 years !

The bacon cheese burger was very good, the gravy on the chicken was needing some seasoning, the Mac and Cheese didn’t have much flavor, the brisket fries were decent, and the pull pork sandwich was pretty good. They have a nice outside area out back cows, chickens, etc.
