First time visiting. Went on a Sunday. We had to wait about 5 mins. We didn't mind even though the hostess missed us. Chips n salsa are good. Only thing I thought was weird is that they don't put cheese on top of the enchiladas. Some of the plates don't come with rice and beans they charge extra. Ov

I had the lunch carne guisada plate. For $10.89 the price is great. Lots of carne and rice. I paid .59 cents more to substitute borracho beans. This place is still a stapel of the Southside. ❤️
The chips n hot sauce are a staple of the place. The old style chips need to be returned. Been going to this place 45 years. I've never not taken home or order a second bowl of chips.

We went in at 8:30 (party of two) and got seated right away. We ordered beer, iced tea and water. Waitress brought the drinks right away. We ordered a full order of nachos with avocado, plus added beef fajitas. Delicious! The waitress was wonderful. We even got to listen to some mariachis.
