I enjoyed the food, hot, fresh and full of flavor. I used to come here with my parents when I was young. It was good to come back after so many years. The chips seem to never change.

First time here for a client lunch. Clean. Good service. The mango margarite was tasty and not too sweet or sour. The shrimp cocktail was large and full of shrimp, on the spicy side. The queso flameado was quiet greasy but very delicious. Tortillas were very good. My colleagues enjoyed both of their steak plates very much. Not a si gle complaint. The chips are also a favorite!

Used to come here when I was a kid, first time back in over 30yrs. The building is bigger than I remember and incredibly clean, which is remarkable for it's age. The food is excellent and the service is even better. My waitress was Susanna and she did an amazing job but what was more impressive was how well the staff communicated and worked together to take care of their guests. This is a lost art in today's service industry and I highly recommend stopping by for lunch to see them in action and experience what has kept this place thriving for so many decades. Plus, the chips are incredible, I think they sprinkle them with fairy dust or something 🤣can't stop eating them even though I'm so full I could pop!!

Y’all…get off the river and come eat at this authentic family style restaurant. So fast, very reasonable, way clean…and yummy! Best restaurant chips; we took some with us. You will not be disappointed. Shout out to Leslie B for making great recommendations and taking care of us! 🌮 😁👏🏼

The chips n hot sauce are a staple of the place. The old style chips need to be returned. Been going to this place 45 years. I've never not taken home or order a second bowl of chips.
Times are changing however the chips your mom n dad had were fresh n hot best in San Antonio. Not anymore though,

I’ve been dining here since high school so like 20 plus years absolutely love their customer service and authentic mexican food. This has been my go to curbside place for the last few weeks. From cal do’s, tacos, menudo and chips salsa all taste great. Call in my order and ready in 10min and bring it out to your vehicle. All at an affordable price and made to order with a smile thank you.

Took my parents to go eat so they can see their granddaughter at her work of course my beautiful butterfly 🦋 Kathy loera me and my dad got the shrimp cocktail. My mom got the fajita plate and everything was good. I forgot the servers name a older gentleman really nice and attentive.thank you we had great laughs and remembering when I was young and my father would take me and my siblings when we were little 💕 nice memories

First time visiting. Went on a Sunday. We had to wait about 5 mins. We didn't mind even though the hostess missed us. Chips n salsa are good. Only thing I thought was weird is that they don't put cheese on top of the enchiladas. Some of the plates don't come with rice and beans they charge extra. Overall the food was really good. Service was awesome. Will be going back. Thanks
