French Sandwiches

On the menu there were only two bahn mi options but they were able to sub the pork for chicken and scrambled eggs on another sandwich. The guy who rang me up went back and made my sandwiches right away. They gave options of soup (French onion), salad, or classic lays chips for a side. I chose the classic lays and took my sandwiches to go. I was so starving I broke into my sandwiches as soon as I got to my car and was pleasantly surprised that they wrote which sandwich was which!!! Thank you guys because no one bothers to do this anymore! Also, thank you for having soft bread. The custom ordered scrambled egg bahn mi was so delicious please add it to the menu! Summary: family owned, great service, fast, willing to make substitutions, and delivered with careful packaging. This place is serving up love one sandwich at a time with family pride and integrity ♥️🤝

A cute and simple little French/Vietnamese sandwich shop. The sandwich was delicious with very crispy, flaky bread. You can tell a lot of effort goes into presentation, and the classical music really helps set the atmosphere. The sandwich came with a tasty cream puff and the cafe du monde has a really nice smooth flavor to it. I was really impressed with this place, and it may become a regular lunch spot for me.

I wasn't blown away, but it's good. The sandwiches are pretty small. The pickles are tasty, but the sandwich felt like it was going for something "elegant" with the light portions and presentation, but it didn't really accomplish that for me. Although it tasted very good, I felt a little underwhelmed.

Trying to find a good breakfast/lunch place during the holidays before New Years and failed after driving to 2 closed restaurants. I decided to call this one before I started driving again, and it was open. For good reason. No regrets on the great find. It is located in The Oaks shopping plaza, relatively easy to find between Fredericksburg road and Wurzbach road, between A&M nails and Smoke N More. It shares the parking lot with the rest of the stores in the plaza but there is usually plenty of parking. Ordered the French Grilled Tuna sandwich w Croissant. Amazing! Came with a wonderfully prepared and presented small salad and a sweet pastry. The croissant is crispy on the outside and warm on the inside. The pastry was a cream puff that was very delicious. Such a good deal with everything included! Not a lot of store does that anymore bc it’s usually an added charge! Owner Duc is from Vietnam and has opened for over 30 years (since 1990), extremely friendly and with great customer service. Will definitely come back again when in the area to try out other dishes. Keep up the great work French Sanswiches!
