India Taj Palace - San Antonio - Photo album

Recommended by a friend who immigrated from India, we drove 90 minutes to find this out-of-the-way restaurant. It was worth it. This is definitely the best Indian restaurant in the San Antonio area. Since their website talks about their menu being from northern India, I wasn't sure as my favorite d
Everything that we ordered was really good. The lady that was our waitress had really good timing, she didn't over or under do it coming to our table. I recommend it and I'm sure we'll be going back.
This is an Indian buffet that has a ton of vegan options!! I came here with my friends who have no dietary restrictions because of their large amount of vegan items! Not only is it a large buffet with lots of kinds of food but everything is labelled well with signs so you know what is vegan! The foo
Went on a Sunday afternoon. They had a buffet that had alot of options along with 3 desserts and salad. I ordered the Karahi chicken and the garlic nan bread was a hut. Ambience isn't all that, esp for being in stone oak. Staff very friendly!
If you are looking for a highly authentic experience. Then I would like to highly recommend this restaurant. I order the palace dinner for one with khir. It is large enough for two. The flavors are amazing. The aroma of the rice is truly incredible. It’s a hidden gem here in the Northern part of San
I absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service. You could smell the food as you pulled into the parking lot. That is always a great sign. And they were very friendly. Large portions. The lentil soup was like a warm hug. The garlic naan was perfect. The chicken oh man, didn’t lack flavo
Every other time I’ve been here I got the buffet and it’s always excellent. This time the buffet was closed so I got the palace dinner for one and asked them to make it as spicy as possible. It was so good. Stop reading reviews and just go there.
Wow! If you don’t find something on the lunch buffet you like, you don’t like Indian food. For a buffet, everything was excellent. They bring fresh nan to each table. As you walk in the refreshing scent of, I think sandalwood, incense is present. Service is excellent as are the real plates, metal
Above average food and all dishes were not authentic Indian but taste is good. They have buffet on Friday when I have been there.
Yummy! This establishment is vegan friendly, so they use coconut milk instead of whole milk. I had the buffet. It really made all the flavors pop.
It’s family owned restaurant like Mom and Pop. Garlic naan is very nice. My Husband likes the food here so much so We went back on Friday. They have dinner buffet Friday, Saturday. Chicken Tikka Masala is the best.
The food was fantastic! Everything was fresh and sooooo delicious! Authentic and tasty. I really like their Naan.
Awesome Indian food buffet for a good price. Very flavorful dishes, and many different dishes to choose from. They have more options than I've seen at other places. Love their Tandoori Chicken especially for the fact they have the smaller pieces without bone. Definitely suggest checking this place o
A friend recommended this restaurant and said she and her family have enjoyed the food and service here for years. I went yesterday and agree with her positive raves. The food was fresh and delicious. They had a buffet during the lunch hour and it was a perfect opportunity to try a little bit of eve
