Great first experience at 254. Excellent staff, good menu and nice atmosphere. The wings are the bomb! Hummus is decent. The staff and cocktails are wonderful. I recommend and will return.
Very nice setting and our sever Reese was very helpful!! The food was good. The crab beignets were really good.
After a bad experience trying to eat breakfast there when 2 waitresses said we couldn't order off the menu, that bad experience was MORE than made up by the GM, Josue and our waiter, Claudio. Josue contacted us to apologize for the experience and welcomed us back for breakfast. We are so glad we ret
Tried this for the first time and the food was great. Had a venison burger and Mac and cheese. Not many there at the time I went but the waiter was very nice. A relaxing place to get some nice food. It cost quite a bit more given the location but I don't think anyone will be disappointed in the food
Everything was delicious at La Contera Resort and Spa - Sweetfire Kitchen. If you haven't been, try it on Easter, Mother's Day or Father's Day for a better brunch food selection!! You won't be disappointed with the food, food staff and the price point isn't too bad for the food quality and quantit

I had the lamb chops and they were outstanding. The cucumber ribbon, marinated watermelon salad was amazing. The staff are attentive and caring. The view outside is fantastic. I highly recommend, for a romantic dinner with your partner or a special night with your family. Kids are not out of place h
Having breakfast here was such a nice experience, relax with the spectacular view. I hit the bar and run into Philip, a very friendly bartender, fun to hang out with. His mixed drink was excellent. I love it. Will be back here regularly for sure.
We've been to Sweetfire several times for lunch during Restaurant week and have enjoyed the meals before. This time we thought to try dinner and glad they had outdoor seating. We had the covered patio all to ourselves! My husband and I had tea to stay warm. The good parts included menu items my hus
Paul was our server and he was wonderful! I had the snapper and my friend and I shared the antelope appetizer. Both were suggestions from Paul and did not disappoint.
Excellent Easter brunch. Brought in Bugs Bunny as the Easter bunny from the nearby Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Country carving stations, an omelet bar to order, a raw bar with whiskers and shrimp, an array of brunch buffet food, a slew of pastries and desserts and several breads and grains. They hosted
The service and food is awesome. It was so busy tonight but they were attentive, consistently refilled glasses, and smiled through it all. The BBQ shrimp and grits is now my favorite.
Honestly ur paying for the atmosphere and the fact it's at la cantera golf resort. Food not terrible but def not outstanding. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive which I def appreciate. Def pricey, fam of 4 we spend $300.
