Great first experience at 254. Excellent staff, good menu and nice atmosphere. The wings are the bomb! Hummus is decent. The staff and cocktails are wonderful. I recommend and will return.

After a bad experience trying to eat breakfast there when 2 waitresses said we couldn't order off the menu, that bad experience was MORE than made up by the GM, Josue and our waiter, Claudio. Josue contacted us to apologize for the experience and welcomed us back for breakfast. We are so glad we returned at his request. The food was delicious and the environment on the outside patio was very beautiful. Our waiter Claudio, was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely return in the Fall when we visit the resort again. We recommend the avocado toast, the burger, and the pancakes!

Tried this for the first time and the food was great. Had a venison burger and Mac and cheese. Not many there at the time I went but the waiter was very nice. A relaxing place to get some nice food. It cost quite a bit more given the location but I don't think anyone will be disappointed in the food. You can try some more rare things you cannot get at a typical restaurant as well like Quail eggs, Elk, or Antelope

Everything was delicious at La Contera Resort and Spa - Sweetfire Kitchen. If you haven't been, try it on Easter, Mother's Day or Father's Day for a better brunch food selection!! You won't be disappointed with the food, food staff and the price point isn't too bad for the food quality and quantity. I'm not normally the buffet type but the staff does an excellent job with keeping it hot / cold and fresh!! Also, with several fresh - cooked to taste food stations including 2 omelet stations, desert station with home made ice cream, waffles/ pancakes, Eggs Benedict, Pasta and Cheese, Gourmet Cheeses and more! My five rating is merely for the food, serving staff and ambiance. The hostesses are a bit of a different story! My first job at 16 was at restaurant and that included being a hostess and after owning and operating 6 different restaurants in 40 yrs, I definitely get it!! These girls haven't a clue and their attitudes are less than desirable but don't let that discourage you. They have failed making my reservations on more than one occasions which causes me heartburn before eating but with such great fresh food don't let the stop you from this wonderful food experience. Also check out their patio. Great place to eat. Enjoy!

my bf was craving steak for dinner after the gym so we ended up here via open table coz it was the only table available around the area. They were selling very overpriced steaks for the atmosphere. so my bf got chicken instead. Felt like chili’s to me I ended up just ordering pork chop which was fantastic. It doesn’t come with a side for $30 so I got myself the mac and cheese. Limited dinner menu in my opinion. Service is excellent, food is subpar. Chicken was dry. It’s not a place you would go if you’re budgeting 2-3 expensive dinners a month. I don’t think we will be back for dinner anytime soon but i heard breakfast buffet here is pretty good.

I had the lamb chops and they were outstanding. The cucumber ribbon, marinated watermelon salad was amazing. The staff are attentive and caring. The view outside is fantastic. I highly recommend, for a romantic dinner with your partner or a special night with your family. Kids are not out of place here.

Having breakfast here was such a nice experience, relax with the spectacular view. I hit the bar and run into Philip, a very friendly bartender, fun to hang out with. His mixed drink was excellent. I love it. Will be back here regularly for sure.

We've been to Sweetfire several times for lunch during Restaurant week and have enjoyed the meals before. This time we thought to try dinner and glad they had outdoor seating. We had the covered patio all to ourselves! My husband and I had tea to stay warm. The good parts included menu items my husband ordered - endive salad, soup of the day which was chicken and artichoke soup, blackened redfish and shrimp - and some of the restaurant month items - pear and creole shrimp salad and pecan praline cake with bourbon ice cream. Where it was disappointing was the striped sea bass entree. It had no flavor and was overcooked. Jack had it remade, this time with mashed potatoes. The fish was cooked better this time but seemed to be missing the lemon butter sauce. The mashed potato, on the other hand, was very creamy. The manager came by at the end of the meal to ask about our experience and I shared about the disappointment with the striped sea bass. As we were almost out of the restaurant, the manager said they would deduct from the bill. It was a nice gesture but seemed like an afterthought.

Paul was our server and he was wonderful! I had the snapper and my friend and I shared the antelope appetizer. Both were suggestions from Paul and did not disappoint.
