Louie Italian Restaurant

This is a warm cozy Italian restaurant. We were greeted right away and were able to get a table immediately. It's a nice and dim lighting type of feel inside. The food was great! I thought my Chicken Alfredo was unique in comparison to other Italian restaurants. It was very filling; I'd definitely come back for more...

Had a really nice dinner here with my wife and would have been five stars but our waitress screwed up twice. I ordered the mozzarella cappresse as an appetizer. The waitress brought out mozzarella sticks by accident but brought out the correct dish after being made aware. I ordered the veal albanese and my wife got the cheese ravioli with a chicken breast. Both were very good and had great flavor. When the waitress brought out the check she had charged us for both appetizer. It wasn't busy enough for those kinds of mistakes.

We've come to Louie for ~2 years and have never been disappointed. Today for lunch we had classic chicken parmigiana w spaghetti and flatbread meatball pizza. So good! We finished with tiramisu. Yes! Enjoyed fresh bread rolls and tomato basil soup, too. Everything perfect. Service was friendly. Gentle, classic music playing in the background lent to the already classy ambiance of the experience. Wasn't crowded as usual. I feel Louie is a local, best kept secret. Highly recommended!

Recently went here for a business meeting and I was pleasantly surprised. There was no wait and we were seated quickly. The restaurant has dim lighting to give you that romantic atmosphere. There is also seating for big parties as well. Our server Randall was great. For our app. we ordered the bruschetta and it’s so delicious and gives you enough room for your entree. They also have our warm complimentary dinner rolls which are YUM. 10/10 recommend the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. P.s. they also have half off wine bottles on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

I had no idea this wonderful Italian restaurant was hiding behind a Chili's! The food is delicious (and gorgeous), the service was quick, friendly and accomodating, the vibe of the place isn't stuffy, but rather relaxed and inviting. And to top all of that with a cherry on top: their pricing for such awesome portions is great! I'd highly recommend this place. It's officially a favorite for me now.

Let me start off by saying my waiter Randall was very professional. Kept are cups full and made sure we were good on everything. He even boxed our leftover for us. The food was wonderful. Way better than Olive garden hands down. We left full and happy. I will diffently be back . This is just a wonderful place to dine at. I'm glad I finally went here.

This Italian restaurant is awesome. It is not a chain restaurant, and for that reason it feels almost homemade. The ambiance is very cozy, the staff is very friendly and most important of all the taste of the food is very authentic. You get transported to Italy in this place. The first thing they serve you is the Italian Parmesan bread, it is delicious. After that get your palate ready for the rich flavor of every dish. I will definitely recommend and I will definitely come back.

I went on Sunday at 6pm. The place was was not overly busy and we were seated within 5 mutes. I checked out the menu before we went so we knew exactly what we wanted before we went. Our server was awesome and the food came out quickly. We had the tortellini micalango with a salad and it was amazing. For desert we had tiramisu and it was the best I've had in San Antonio so far. 5 star rating from me. I can't wait to go back and try another dish. Came back today for another experience and the staff gets another good review from me. However, I was not impressed with the veal marsala, or the Philly cheese steak. They were good, but I probably won't order it again. I've had better. The tiramisu was just as good as we remembered.
