Azro Afghan Cuisine - San Antonio - Photo album

Since I moved to San Antonio, Texas almost two months ago, I wanted to try Azro Authentic Afghan Cuisine. It’s run by an Afghan family. Great ambience, presentation of food excellent, the friendliness of the owner himself and his son was authentic Afghan hospitality. The food tasted great. I ord
We had an amazing experience eating here! The food and service was great. The owner and his son were very kind and made awesome recommendations. I highly recommend eating here, you will not regret it!
Amazing authentic Afghan food. Feels homemade and high quality. Ambience is ok. Went on a mellow Saturday afternoon, service is nice.
Tried their mix plate along with chapli kabab plate. By far the best Afghan restaurant in San Antonio
I happened upon this restaurant accidentally. I was planning on going for sushi but parked in front of Azro and decided to try. I have not had Afghanistan cooking before so why not give it a try. The inside is nicely decorated and very inviting. The gentleman at the counter greeted me as soon as I w
I've had some Afghanistan food in Afghanistan before and this was my first time at Azro. My client invited me to this place and asked me to keep an opened mind. I liked the look of the interior of the restaurant, there's even a small section for more traditional dinning were you can sign on the rugs
I ordered pick up and got the mantoo, bolani, and kabuli palow lamb. I don’t usually like lamb but this dish was so good. The lamb was tender and fell off the bone. The mantoo and bolani were also really good.
Best Afghani food in Texas! If you’ve had Afghani food in NY/NJ and have been missing it, this is the place to be. And yes, they do have the NY famous “white sauce”. Of course service is top notch 5 star!
It was my first time trying Afghan food so I wasn’t real sure what to expect. We started with the Sambosa’s which were hot, fresh and delicious. For an entree I had the Kabab-E-Morgh. The rice was really good and the chicken had an amazing flavor profile. The waiter was patient, attentive and made s
I'm from the Middle East i know when the food is really authentic , so this is authentic food , and family owned, you kid served by the son , and the food is made by his mom and the dad is at the register, it's the best food experience I had in the city
The food is good. The atmosphere is nice. The wait staff helpful. It is definitely a casual dining place. The food I had was not overly spiced, so no need to worry about weird or strong flavors if you've never tired Afghan good.
The food was AMAZINGLY delicious and service was great . We tried Uzbaki palau, lamb shops, manto and Bolani. We drove 2 hours from Austin and it was 100% worth it. We will be going here again and again to try everything on the menu. Thank you (owner's son) for your kindness!
Food is sumptuous my husband loves their kabuli pulao. Love the food but the owners have some attitude. Service is not very good and they are not accommodating we wanted to host more people asked them to join the tables they refused. And even when to ask about their chutneys which are actually delic
Excellent halal food in San Antonio. On a Thursday lunch hour, the place was not crowded. We had mixed kabobs and Kabuli Biryani. Both were great. The lamb was perfect. We also got a naan, which was exceptionally good. Highly recommended.
When we planned a trip to San Antonio a visit to Azro was surely in our iteneary. Craving for authentic Afghani cuisine for quite some time we were super excited. We ordered their Kabab combo with brown rice and their Kabuli Pulao. Taste was authentic and great. Quantities could have been better tho
