Tony G's Soul Food - San Antonio - Photo album

It was my first time here. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for months but my work schedule never aligned. As soon as I walked in, the atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful, I was greeted kindly by one of the cooks, another customer and the sweet bartender who took my order. I purchas
We came for soul food and that is what we got! I tried the fried chicken plate with Mac n cheese, mash potatoes and gravy, and collard greens. My husband ordered the jambalaya. The collard greens were something else! So good! For dessert we had the peach cobbler and sweet potato pie- I would have or
Great experience!! Sunday brunch buffet was really good! Just wish there were a little more meat options. They had bbq ribs, fried chicken wings, Salisbury steak, shrimp and beef roast around the corner on the cutting boards!! The jazz band was kool!! Had a good time! The desserts were beautifully d
Went 12/17. Such a vibe. Great food and jazz bad set it off. The swv, Weak in the Knees, had the whole place rocking. The stuffing and fried wings were my fave.
The place was very clean and well decorated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had the fried chicken , it was good not great and my friend had the pork chop….it was delicious. Would definitely go back.
Woah. Every single item was so good and way DELICIOUS 😋. We definitely left with a good coma. The food tasted home made and made with love. I highly recommend coming with friends and an appetite. Did I mention they had live music?
Before I give my review, I must give my disclaimer, I’m from the Caribbean and I can cook. With that being said Tony G got at 10/10 rating from me! Sadly they didn’t have oxtails, but besides that they exceeded my expectations on the brunch! I tried the breakfast and lunch options. The fried chicken
Amazing food and really nice atmosphere. Wait staff were all smiling and welcoming. The cook even came out to ask how it was! The food was great and they had all kinds of hot sauce there.
Tony G’s Soul food brunch on Sunday’s is an all-you-can-eat buffet. I can’t eat a lot so I don’t like buffets because I like to bring leftovers home. But Joe Posada was playing there and I really wanted to hear live music with mimosas. The sides were delicious and their fried chicken wings were seas
What a great little find. It took two phones with navigation to find it LOL one of them I'm pretty sure has no idea what they're doing and one of them knew exactly where to go. The sad part is it turned out we were 7 minutes away from where we were, but it took us 20 minutes in a big circle to get b
Fun atmosphere, live music was a vibe! The Sunday Brunch was yummy with lots of options. Service wasn't very attentive but they were packed. The Banana Pudding was made incorrectly - It was basically box pudding with whipped cream. The rest of the dessert was good.
Great food and fast service! The staff held a good conversation and the music was such a vibe. I went early morning so no wait and no crowd. Heard kids under 5 eat free on Sunday! I will be back.
Good food, good environment waiter was really nice and she provided great service we had the fried chicken mac ,and mashed potatoes we also had the meat loaf mac and mashed potatoes quick service they give you corned bread muffins along with your meal with butter which were ok kinda dry but over all
This Restaurant has a good vibe, very relaxed. Excellent service and food. Mixed drinks are offered and let me recommend the Soulrita. Parking is plenty. Easy to get in and out.
Got there just before lunch, so we ended up with the chicken wings and waffles. The food was amazing. I just wish I would have known that the waffles have little chunks of brown sugar already baked into them, so after pouring the syrup over them it was very sweet. There was really no syrup needed. T
I really loved the macaroni and the jambalaya. The eggs were watery....not sure if they were fresh or from a box. There were only fried wings but I was expecting fried chicken. I had the waffles but they tasted like the ones I once bought at costco so I don't think that they were made there. I had a
This place was amazing. Amazing food, amazing live music, and amazing atmosphere. If I ever find myself in San Antonio, this place is a must. We went on a Sunday, so they have live jazz brunch. $30 all you can eat brunch and the all the food was great.$20 unlimited mimosas and they have 17 (I believ
First timer here! It was really good food and fast. The staff was friendly and spoke to you as if they knew you your whole life. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Would come back and recommend.
