Went to this place yesterday afternoon for lunch. The inside is super small but decorated nicely in the 50s style. Our 1st server took our drink and food order right away. I like the counter area where you can sit and watch the cooks make your food. Our second server (shift change maybe ) brought our food out . My Teens had ordered the bacon cheeseburgers and tots with cheese and bacon. I had the Grilled chicken breast sandwich. I took one look at the sandwich and did not see any chicken. It looked like a BLT. I said to the waitress Oh! They forgot to put the chicken breast . Upon further investigation I Found the chicken. It was so thin it looked more like a slice of turkey . One side of it was overcooked as well. I told the waitress I would not be accepting this sandwich. She was very nice about it and asked what else I would like. I ended up getting a bacon cheeseburger. It was the Best burger I've had in years !! The meat was delicious and the veggies fresh. The sourdough bun was cooked with butter and had a crispy edge. They also forgot to put bacon on the cheesy tators but that was okay. We just took the bacon from the chicken sandwich, cut it up and sprinkled it on the tots. The manager came over to talk to me and apologized about the sandwich. Wish I had got his name but he was so polite and kind . Our waitress was a very nice girl who reminded me of Wednesday Adams. 😁 Definitely recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger and Tots. The fries i would rate a 2 out of 5.

The hamburgers took me back to my childhood. They were very tasty and nice and hot! Our server was the sweetest young lady. She was the only server working at the time. But she went from table to table making sure that everyone was doing okay. We didn't even have to ask for drink refills. She was on it! The food was good. But what made the experience unforgettable was her smile and her attentiveness. ☺️ We will definitely go back every time we are at the River Center Mall!

I’ve been to two Jonny rockets before. One in San Marcos and now San Antonio. Although both serve the same items the one in San Antonio is by far is the best one. The employees are very friendly and easy to talk to when we joked with them. The food was great and fresh when we ordered. ☺️. This was during Memorial Day weekend as well

Was kind of annoyed at first because we were told to go wait by a pole to get a table and then sort of left there. Then the manager came out and asked if we were told that it was to-go only. I said no and pointed out the gentleman who told us to wait to be seated. She graciously let us in and seated us which was awesome because my kids really wanted to dine-in. Celeste was our server for the evening. She was absolutely amazing with my kids. She catered to them the entire visit. The food was great and the fries were bomb. It was a great visit.

What a great find! Plenty of room inside and out for seating options. The staff was friendly and greeted all of us as if we were family. We were taking to our table of choice, given menus, and silverware. Waitress immediately asked us what we wanted to drink, brought the drinks back super quick, and at that point asked us what our food of choice was. We ordered some mini burgers, turkey avacado with bacon sandwich, and a jalepeno/cheddar cheese style burger, so delicious and cooked to perfection. The fries were amazing, lightly salted and crispy. Fun atmosphere, very inviting, and filled with happiness. Ballon’s for the kiddos or I guess whoever wants one upon exit. Definitely check this place out if you are visiting San Antonio, yeah!

Our server, James, did a wonderful job of making sure we had everything we needed. The Route 66 burger was good but it needed a sauce or something to give it a flavor that it was lacking. The chocolate milkshake was full of chocolate and yummy. For two burgers, two orders of fries, water, and a regular chocolate milkshake, the total was $30.12
