Nola San Antonio, Texas

Simply fantastic. Service was amazing. We went during the week in the morning so there was no wait, but when we were leaving we noticed it started to fill up. Staff were wonderful, very attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delightful. I had the vegetable hash and it hit the spot. The beignets were just amazing. We tried the seasonal apple, lemon, and two regular. They were all wonderful, but the regular were my favorite. Fluffy with a slight crunch on the edge. But not overly dense. Just wonderful.

I've never had beignets before and they were amazingly good! I would definitely come back for them. As for the main breakfast, I had banana foster pancakes 🥞🍌 and they were delicious and filling. My friends had the big easy biscuit and chicken & beignets, and they were very pleased with their food too. Drinks: Pineapple juice was lovely 🍍 and the purple haze wheat beer was good too👍

Tbh I love basically any and all food, but every once in a while I'll notice something... that's different ? The Beignets were amazing, but the potatoes were lacking a little extra sparkle this time. I personally ordered the new Blue Crab Omelette and I could say the same for this dish. Had a good flavor (something new!)but needed an extra push in taste. Overall Rating: 8/10 Love the atmosphere! Good picture place! Need to try the drinks next time! :)

The food was ok. Eggs had lots of flavor, and fried green tomatoes were awesome. The bacon could have been crispy and hotter. Grits were different, I guess I expected the spice plus cheese in them. My husband had the chicken and biengets, but the soy sauce overpowered the chicken. Drinks were tasty! All in all, I just need to try different foods next time. The venue was perfect, and the staff were nice, and I loved seeing people have fun and enjoy their jobs!

Sooo busy when we came at 10am. We didn’t have any reservations but the wait wasn’t long at all. My bf and I ordered the crab boulettes, Cajun boudin chilaquiles and shrimp & grits. The dish that blew me away had to be the shrimp and grits! The grits tasted buttery and the sauce was so flavorful. The crab boulette was not my favorite, it was very dry. The chilaquiles tasted so good but I didn’t see where the boudin was incorporated and I wish I had more of the gravy!! It was too early for sweets for us so we’ll have to try the beignets next time!

The restaurant is true to it's name. New Orleans dishes and tastes. I've been to New Orleans a few times and this place has some of the best boudain balls I've ever had. Even the beingets love up to their name with seasonal flavors and staple ones. I ordered breakfast and everything in this place is home made. If you can find a place a park, it is worth a visit.
