Burger Belly

I’ve tried twice this week to have lunch, but my work schedule hasn’t been cooperating. But, I did have a chance to pick up some breakfast tacos this morning. Bean & cheese and ham & egg. Both excellent and served on big fluffy tortillas. Maybe next trip I can make it to lunch.

One of the frustrations of living on the far West side of San Antonio is that we are further from the best restaurants which are located in the center of the city. That being said, my expectations when first eating at Apetito's were not very high. I'm glad to say that I was pleasantly surprised that me and my family enjoyed it so much. I've been back several times now and I'm always impressed with the fast and friendly service and I've enjoyed all of the food that I've eaten. The only downside is that they are only opened for breakfast and lunch.

Stopped in for breakfast because of the high reviews. We were impressed. Very clean. Lots of parking and wait staff was attentive. Food was great, I think the potatoes could have used some salt, but there was salt on the table so no big deal. We can't wait to go back for dinner.

Awesome place! Found it on Zamato! The staff was very attentive!! We had the Hangover Special! The menudo was perfectly seasoned and had plenty of hominy. The barbacoa taco, included in the special, is the best I have ever tasted. My husband, who has discriminating tastes was very impressed with this restaurant! We will be visiting frequently!!!

LOVED THIS! Found it on urbanspoon and was worth the drive just for the tortillas. We loved everthing we ordered, especially the taco salad shell! Our order came out wrong but the staff went above and beyond to fix it and make sure we were happy! Exceptional food and staff! The entire staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Apetito's Ruined Me. Big ole rambling yellow house of a restaurant, the enclosed patio is my favorite dining location. Have never been anything but stuffed from eating here having used one kind of discount coupon or another. Last one we used we had to buy $35 worth of food - that buys a lot of food for just two people!

Bean and cheese nachos: great use of savory refrieds and plenty of gooey melted cheese with a mild kick from the pickled jalapeno slices I added; the full meal deal: two well stuffed enchiladas, one beef (substituted for a cheese) and one cheese; rice and beans: fairly run of the mill rice but bacony flavored frijoles borrachos which we substituted for the refritos (get the idea that we like to mess with the static menu items?); puffy tacos: an add on which we enjoyed though the fried masa was just a tad bit greasy. Good, but greasy.

Forget about supper! My apetito was wonderfully and completely ruined after my visit here.

I've been here twice and both times I had a great experience. It's only curbside and I'm totally fine with that. I had a potato and egg taco and sweet tea. The taco was tasty and the quality was great. The tea tasted fresh. I'm definitely looking forward to going again.

The food is always high quality and the service, even better. I've seen some negative reviews on Facebook and Google and honestly, if a bean & cheese that costs more than $2 is enough to make you write a bad review because it broke your wallet- then you have bigger problems and you need to get your priorities straight.
