Rainforest Cafe

The food was not too bad there. But, we are here for the atmosphere. The rainforest atmosphere would give kids life long exciting experiences. The artificial moving animals would go in a cycle of every 20-30 minutes. My kids were excited to take pictures with them, too. Of course the staff were nice, too. Overall, I would definitely bring your family there for at least once.

Situated right there on the river walk! Got sat with the gorillas. thunderstorm every 20ish minutes, scares the kids, so that’s good! Nacho appetizer was okay but not good for the price. Drinks are served in souvenir glasses which you can exchange for clean ones to take home. Has some nice fish tanks around. Clean restrooms!

After deciding to take a family trip downtown we walked by the rainforest Cafe and the kiddos had been asking to go, so we decided to give it a try and I'm glad we did. There was a slight wait as it was busy but they conveniently have a nice bar downstairs with drinks not just for adults but cool little frog cup slushes for the kids. The bartender made the wait seem like 5 minutes instead of 30. She was absolutely awesome. The whole vibe was great. The staff were all super polite and accommodating of my kids wanting to explore. The food was much better than I thought it would be for a restaurant like this. Every 30 minutes or so they have a thunderstorm and all the animals move and lights flash. Another great thing that shows care is we saw the manager Gary walking around and interacting with not just us but all the customers ensuring a great experience. In summary, if you have kiddos then this is the spot for you. Even if you don't then just enjoy the bar downstairs lol.

You have to really expect a wait time here. A lot of people love this place and are interested in it. Service is a little slow, but again, this place is busy. This restaurant was open on Thanksgiving! We were very far from home and our airmen just graduated basic military training. This restaurant was open. So I can say nothing bad about them. Happy Thanksgiving!

The location here is wonderful, and it features outdoor seating on the riverwalk! It was cold and rainy the night we went, so we sat inside. This location is showing it's age a bit, but was unique in being three stories and having a lower than usual ceiling. The grouper was excellent, which was honestly a little unexpected. Great service from everyone, super friendly.

Sept 13 2023 Service was awesome. Our waiter was very attentive. We went for our daughter's bday after school. Got her the volcano cake. Staff sang happy bday. Food was great. Animatronics were all working. The tiger scared me lol. Great place for the family. Manager came out to greet us. Clean facility.

This place was so fun for my daughter! The food was great as well. Pricey but well worth the experience. Service was a little slow but everyone was extremely friendly and accomodating! If you have very small children the "thunderstorms" that occur every 15 minutes may be a bit overwhelming. My daughter was 8 though and absolutely loved it and the animated animals. We would definitely come back here!
