My wife and I had our first date at Golden Wok back in 1981. We have always enjoyed the food, and it wasn't until this visit that I realized I hadn't given Golden Wok a review. As always, the restaurant is bright open and roomy. The kitchen is out in front, and you see the kitchen staff working hard on the orders at hand. We we in a large group on a Sunday afternoon, so the restaurant was busy but not crowded. There were a total of 14 of us, with 4 different tickets. Our waiter got everything right, and all our bills were correct. As far as the food itself, it came out hot and tasty, and the portion sizes were big. Sometimes you'll go to a restaurant and it under delivers, well not a Golden Wok. Great food, great service, and well priced. 5 stars for Golden Wok!

Try the Crispy Asian Beef, you won't regret it. This place never disappoints, been visiting whenever I get a craving for Chinese food. Definitely worth it! I want to come back here and try many more things. My recent visit to this restaurant satisfied my craving for chinese food. If you're a fan of sesame chicken, then you should order from here. Their pork fried rice was delicious and the sesame chicken as well. The location is big and I'd say that a big family should have no problem getting a table quickly.

Being a fan of their hot oil that they sell in store, I wanted to give the actual restaurant a shot. The menu was a bit simple with a few unrecognizable dishes that your average Chinese joint may not offer. For starters, we went for the hot and sour soup, along with the chicken eggrolls. The hot and sour soup was ok. The eggrolls were fine as well, their was very little filling inside the rolls. There were two sauces that accompanied the eggrolls, one was a type of mustard sauce that was heavy with horseradish. It nearly burned a third hole through my nose. On to the main course! I chose the Singapore noodles. Something different that I haven't tried before. The dish had a nice flavor with a hint of curry to it. The portion was huge and overall very tasty. Once again, the dish was stingy with the meat. The Mrs. chose the Pad Thai, and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Our server's name was Donnie, and he did an exceptional job attending to our needs. If/when we return, I'd hope to have him take care of us again. 3.8/5

It's my first time trying out their dim sum on a Sunday. Their selection is impressive! They are all tasty. Be very careful with what you request and how much you request from the moving carts because it can add up. Their menu doesn't disclose the price for each dim sum. They all vary. The service from everyone was outstanding! The place is big and every table was taken during lunchtime. Expect to wait 15-30min for a table during lunch on weekends. I'll certainly be coming back for more dim sum! Come check them out for yourself!!

This was our first time here and it was delicious! The only reason I put 3 stars for service was because they had just been hit with the huge Sunday brunch and I know everyone was very tired but our waitress still messed up our dim sum and didn’t even know what she gave us until the end when she saw it was supposed to go to another table yet we were still charged for it. Food was amazing and fresh! We will definitely be coming back

THE best dim sum in San Antonio! I enjoyed all of their savory options but the fruit tarts were my favorite. Delicious! The push carts were the cherry on top.

I’ve eaten here about 4 times and so far the food reminds me of the Chinese food restaurants my family would eat at in the San Francisco Bay Area when we lived there. Authentic and a little bit extra. We’ll worth the price. The service yesterday on a Friday night was above and beyond. My sister came into town so we took her with my uncle for a family style Chinese food feast and it was nostalgic and totally amazing. I’m convinced that this might be the most authentic Chinese restaurant in San Antonio so far since moving here from Northern California. Great atmosphere too.

First time eating here. Had the lunch special Lemon Chicken. It was good. Friend had the Beef and Broccoli, he says it was good. My other friends had the Shrimp Stir Fry, and for the exception of all the onions, they said it was delicious. Server was ok and helpful. Overall good experience.

We got here about 2pm and it was packed. Considering how busy they are we were worried having to wait a long time and possible having our order inaccurate. We had to wait for a table for about 20 minutes. Not long after we sat down the waitress came over and started taking care of our table. We ordered the cheese puffs and hot and sour soup as appetizers. The cheese puffs were delicious and the soup was tasty but very salty. As entrées, we ordered the shrimp, supreme, broccoli, beef, and Mushu chicken. All of the Andre’s were accurate, fresh & delicious. Now I understand why this place is always packed when we drive by. I would highly recommend!
