I've been going to Good Time Charlie's for 35yrs. Always a Good Time at Charlie's. The food is excellent. The staff is excellent. The atmosphere is excellent. Do yourself a favor and order the Enchiladas Charlie's Style...YUM!! Fyi....Meg is the best waitress ever!!!
My wife ate here many times 10+ years ago, and she remembers that because it was so good. We decided to go here for date night last week, and it did not disappoint! I enjoyed reading some of the sports articles on the walls and learning about the history of the restaurant. We both ordered the award-
A San Antonio tradition. We have been going for years and always enjoy. They have the best chili dog in town and I always spruce mine up with bacon. Outstanding. My wife had their chicken fried steak which is more than a meal, but wonderful.
We got steak fingers and an old fashioned hamburger. Everything was fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and service was super quick. Not kidding, our order came out within 5 minutes of ordering. Will definitely be back again.

My new go-to place for chicken fried steak. A little on the salty side, but the mashed potatoes made up for it. The steak was a little tough to chew, yet it didn't spoil the overall quality and experience of the meal.
