We decided to try a place we hadn't visited in a long time and Chuy's won the coin toss. Server Matty was very polite and friendly and made sure we didn't wait for a tea refill or anything else. Totally enjoyed the Chuychanga but I was STUFFED when I finished it!! Food came out H-O-T... Had to let it sit a few minutes before eating!! I think we'll have to go back sooner than 2-3 years like this visit!! Thanks for a great meal, Chuy's, and thanks for the outstanding service, Ms Matty!!

Fantastic food in a fun, festive atmosphere! The chips and fresh salsa were amazing; be sure to request the white sauce, too! The fajitas were stellar and came out lightning fast. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The normal funky decorations had Christmas elements added to them in a delightful fashion. Thank you, Chuy's; we are looking forward to our next visit!

There were two in our party and it was a Monday evening approx. 6pm. We were seated immediately, as they were not too busy and greeted by our server. The server was professional, courteous, and visited our table at appropriate intervals.
Our food arrived, and it was what we ordered and tasty. I had the crispy tacos, and the other person ordered tacos and enchiladas combo.
While the order and everything were correct. I felt this warranted 4 stars vs. 5 because given these were dinner portions, I expected more meat in my tacos and tortillas offered with the dinner (given rice and beans were part of the meals).
BTW, high marks for the chips and two kinds of salsa brought to the table. One was a ranch salsa mixture, and the other was a picadillo salsa mixture.

Very good meal, no doubt about that. You must get the creamy jalapeño dip with your tortilla chips.

I love this chuys. I never wait more than 10 minutes for a table even If it's packed. The servers are always ontop of helping an assisting when needed. The food is always AMAZING. We usually start with a round of then ponchos (nachos with meat) and highly highly recommend. I always get the steak burrito with salsa Verde and it never disappoints. Chuys is easily top 3 on my favorites.

Met friends for dinner and had a great meal with fantastic service. But if someone has hearing problems or wears hearing aids this place may make it very difficult to hear others speaking or have conversations, since there's no sound absorption.

Friendly staff and we were sat down quickly. Great service and everything was fresh. Great flavors. The jalapeno sauce over the burrito was a nice add. The martini was good and even tasted tequila in it, bonus. Definitely worth a return visit.

Lively location, decorations and waiters make you feel like you’ve been transported somewhere outside of San Antonio! Chips and salsa were absolutely delicious and the perfect spice level. I’m glad we got to try the fajitas because the meet was probably the best I’ve had in fajitas. Very moist and flavorful. Would definitely come back again when we visit San Antonio!

A great dining experience that started as soon as we walked through the door. The hostess and waitress were both just happy people to be around. Everything from the mixed drink to the meal was delicious. Care was taken to pack our leftovers to go. To go drinks offered. Great restaurant.

Been here a few times. One of my favorite stops in TX. Great service and ample seating. Food is always good especially if you enjoy spicy. Do not order any sauce other than mild if you aren't into hot! Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is fantastic! Highly recommend👌.

Chuy's is what you'd expect for Americanized mexican food. Don't expect out of the world flavor. The food is decent, satisfying, and reasonably priced for the portions. The boom boom enchilada, and taco salad were good and the tres leches is a must have.
The atmosphere is really nice complimented with their great eclectic interior design. The service was also great; our waitress was very attentive. I would go back.

I enjoy spicy food but their charro beans were way to spicy 🌶. It seemed like everything I ordered had way too many jalapeños mixed into the recipe. My wife ordered the chicken fajita salad and although the salad was huge it had a very small portion of meat. I do not go to a Mexican food restaurant to eat salad. And their AC was set on extra cold for that time of night. Heard others complaining so I know it wasn’t just me.

I will always be a fan... sitting at the bar having pulled chicken flautas...took a bite of one...bit down on a chicken bone...no biggie...but the bartender saw it and reported to the manager...and he comes out of the kitchen...COMPS...the entire meal...I told him "not a big deal"...and his response was..."Well, I appreciate your feeling that way...but it is to us...the plate states..."pulled chicken, not pulled chicken with bones"
A very cool move....Love this place and always eat here....bones or no bones!!!!

Chimichanga was very dry and over fried. Looked like the turkey from the movie Christmas Vacation. The crunchy tacos were dry and flavorless.. Not impressed this time around..

Marisol at this location is the absolute best server! I work at the mall nearby and she knows my time is limited. She’s efficient and ultra friendly. Consistent service for years!! Ask for her section and if you’re reading this Chuy’s, give her a raise:)

Poor service the waiter went maybe a couple of times than left for a while that we had to ask another waitress for help. Happy hour margaritas are a joke absolutely no alcohol. We told the waiter and his response was NOTHING did not even bother to go and let the bartender know. Never again! Y

Food was fabulous as always. Strawberry mojito was awesome. Service from Tiffany was EXCELLENT! !!! LOVE HER! She was so good, we tipped her almost as much as the price of our meal.
We were not impressed at all by the hostess. She was not friendly, almost to the point of being rude. However she was nothing but friendly, full of smiles and talking with a co-worker that walked up. Complaining about how she never had to work until 9 on a Monday. Not a good first impression for the restaurant.

We were heading home after being on a cruise and decided to stop and eat and it was delicious. Our waitress was so sweet and took really good care of us. I would highly recommend it. Only wish we had one in San Angelo

The IH10 location needs to hire people with personality, smiles, enjoy their job. We were greeted by a Hostess who probably was over sitting people after the lunch hour rush. No smile, no personality. The Waiter never checked on us to see how the food was or if we needed anything. We had to waive him down. It’s a shame, I love Chuy’s and took my CoWorkers to check it out. Needless to say they were not Wow’d. The food was good but they wouldn’t go there again.
