Chuy's

We decided to try a place we hadn't visited in a long time and Chuy's won the coin toss. Server Matty was very polite and friendly and made sure we didn't wait for a tea refill or anything else. Totally enjoyed the Chuychanga but I was STUFFED when I finished it!! Food came out H-O-T... Had to let it sit a few minutes before eating!! I think we'll have to go back sooner than 2-3 years like this visit!! Thanks for a great meal, Chuy's, and thanks for the outstanding service, Ms Matty!!

There were two in our party and it was a Monday evening approx. 6pm. We were seated immediately, as they were not too busy and greeted by our server. The server was professional, courteous, and visited our table at appropriate intervals. Our food arrived, and it was what we ordered and tasty. I had the crispy tacos, and the other person ordered tacos and enchiladas combo. While the order and everything were correct. I felt this warranted 4 stars vs. 5 because given these were dinner portions, I expected more meat in my tacos and tortillas offered with the dinner (given rice and beans were part of the meals). BTW, high marks for the chips and two kinds of salsa brought to the table. One was a ranch salsa mixture, and the other was a picadillo salsa mixture.

Fantastic food in a fun, festive atmosphere! The chips and fresh salsa were amazing; be sure to request the white sauce, too! The fajitas were stellar and came out lightning fast. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The normal funky decorations had Christmas elements added to them in a delightful fashion. Thank you, Chuy's; we are looking forward to our next visit!

I love this chuys. I never wait more than 10 minutes for a table even If it's packed. The servers are always ontop of helping an assisting when needed. The food is always AMAZING. We usually start with a round of then ponchos (nachos with meat) and highly highly recommend. I always get the steak burrito with salsa Verde and it never disappoints. Chuys is easily top 3 on my favorites.

Lively location, decorations and waiters make you feel like you’ve been transported somewhere outside of San Antonio! Chips and salsa were absolutely delicious and the perfect spice level. I’m glad we got to try the fajitas because the meet was probably the best I’ve had in fajitas. Very moist and flavorful. Would definitely come back again when we visit San Antonio!
