I had a delicious sushi lunch with my friend yesterday. Our server was very attentive and helpful and our roles were delicious. We had the Christina roll, Lincoln Heights, roll, and Stone Oak roll. It definitely hit the spot! The restaurant was also quiet and clean.
I went to the happy hour and it was pretty good. I ordered the pork and vegetable fried gyozas as an appetizer, a combination fried rice and I also had the spicy tuna roll and the Philadelphia roll. Everything was good. The cucumber martini was too strong, I didn’t like it that much. The service was excellent.
This place is an absolutely must try food. Amazing drink menu for all kinds and a variety of sushi and other plates. If in San Antonio go check it out. Customer service is on point with staff caring enough to come back and check on you quite frequently making sure you are not missing anything or need anything. Wonderful.
The service was decent. A little bit of a wait for food even though it didn’t seem very busy. The sushi was good but not anything overly special. Extensive menu so might go back to try some of the other offerings.
Sushi Zushi was one of the first places I tried sushi, such a long time ago. I have spent so much time trying so many different local spots and favorites that I have not eaten at a Sushi Zushi in over 10 years. Met a friend there today for lunch and was quite surprised and the quality, quantity, and overall experience. I apologize I don’t remember all of the rolls we ordered, I know there was a dragon roll in there, but all the rolls came out delicious. The ingredients were very fresh and obviously great care was taken in the preparation of these rolls. We came away full and satisfied. It was nice to come back to a place after so many years and still get a solid product.
It was my family’s first time coming to eat here and we were treated so nicely. Our waitress, Jay, did an excellent job at seating my family and serving us as well. The food came out wonderfully and it was delicious. The bathrooms were also cleaned and the entire restaurant felt cleaned too. I love the aura of this place, I will definitely take my siblings here. Thank you so much! :)
Atmosphere, food and service were all amazing. Our table loved every dish we had. Be sure to ask for the secret menu and spicy soy sauce if you want to try something new. I was the only member of the table who didn't eat sushi and I still thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Seaweed salad was perfect. The proportions were much larger than I expected and the price was much lower, especially considering the quality of the food. Definitely recommend.
I have been coming to this location for a couple years now and it never truly disappoints. This is the very first place I ever tried sushi and I fell in love with it, so it’ll always be my go to. They have a variety of some pretty great rolls, drinks and apps. Their happy hour is pretty good too, especially when it comes to their wine selection. There have been a couple times I’ve gone and their service isn’t the best, as in lack of attentiveness but, it hasn’t happened often enough for me to think about not returning. If this is your first time trying sushi or even just want to grab some for dinner with a good glass of wine for happy hour, this is your place to be.
Good place for sushi! My wife ordered the jack roll and I ordered the Cosimo roll. Overall, we had a good experience. Although, it did take at least 25 min to get our sushi rolls. We would consider coming back.
Be very very careful if you have peanut allergies. I ordered a ginger dressing salad and recieved peanut dressing. The server was unaware that there was peanut in it. I tasted it and said that this is definitely peanut and was told that there was no peanut in it and I again assured the server that it was almost pure peanut. The server returned after a little bit and told me sorry, they accidently mixed peanut in the ginger dressing. I assure you that there was 0 ginger in this dressing. Having friends and family who are deathy allergic to peanuts and experiencing this is extremely dangerous and scary. Aside from this, the food was really good. I ordered the Cosimo signature roll and it was very tasty. The hot green tea was a little pricey at $5 for about 10-12oz of tea from a bag. All in all the food and atmosphere was nice.
