Rita's On The River - San Antonio - Photo album

We came from the UK and wanted some Tex-Mex. We asked the staff for recommendations and the food did not disappoint. My taste buds were tingling from the fresh salsa, the Texas sized margarita and the fresh fajitas. Such a great atmosphere and brilliant service, well rounded with some amazing food.
I had been here about 5 years ago and wanted my partner to have the experience as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Due to the heat, we chose indoors. The chips were good and the salsa was even better. The guacamole was made in front of us and was delicious. The margaritas were obviousl
We stopped in to cool off from the 99° weather, and Fred took great care of us. We drank down 2 sweet teas each and enjoyed the chips and salsa and some Chili Con Queso. Come on in, it's tasty!
There were 3 of us dining. Just decided to do a random walk on the river, and we came across this joint. Not a bad spot, I would definitely recommend this place. Food is reasonably priced for a tourist locality. I had the Enchiladas Verdes (4 jalapeno spice), my wife had the four street tacos meal,
July 2023: It was lunch time on the River Walk and my wife wanted Mexican food. So we walked around until Rita's on the River caught our eye. They just opened for the day and we decided to take a seat inside. The staff was nice and the place was very open where even inside can see people walking by
Excellent food and margaritas! There were four of us, and we all agreed the food was the best Mexican we'd had in a while. I had the fish tacos (perfect!). Boyfriend had the ribs, and they were very tasty (I had one). My son loved his enchiladas. The rice had a chipotle spice, I think, which was de
Rita’s on the River is a great place for a margarita or something to eat. Convenient to the riverwalk and super nice service people. The margaritas here are better than most we have found on the riverwalk. A fun place with plenty outside seating and large fans for the warm months. We had cocktails w
My Daughter and I visited Rita's for the first time last week. We were seated immediately and served in a short time. The Staff was friendly, professional, and very attentive! We thought the food was absolutely delicious and seasoned perfectly! There was one seasoning I don't normally taste in enchi
They are wonderful. Our restaurant for Tex Mex all the time. We always eat and drinks here when we are visiting San Antonio from Houston. The margaritas are extremely good!!! Sometimes they are crowded but it’s worth to wait.
We ordered the beef fajita nachos and they were done really well everything else made and like they actually know how to do nachos the right way super Our server was super great his name is Brady and Brady knows how to deliver top-notch customer
With so many restaurant options on the River Walk, Rita’s was a great choice for me and my friend! We were greeted immediately and seated with little to no wait. Miriah, our server was legit at our table in had to be less than 3 minutes. The menu is quite limited but it honestly has all the options
Mikey is an AMAZING bartender! He provided great service and recommendations. Coming back next time!
Came here for a family dinner with relatives visiting from out of state and we had such an amazing experience. Our food was amazing and the service was spectacular. Valentino was an outstanding server. His recommendations were spot on and he treated us like family. He was an absolute sweetheart, fun
We had a great time here! We popped in for a late night dinner and had a blast. The drinks were good, the enchiladas were good, and the atmosphere was good. What more could you ask for while on vacation!
