I can't stop eating them. Great flavor. Meaty ribs. And they don't have any lighter fluid flavor like some other place I know.....

The brisket was to die for!! Awesome melt in your mouth tender! And flavor! Family combo was great prices are super reasonable, chicken was flavorful and juicy! Highly recommend!
Nothing like true Texas Barbecue and this restaurant delivers. Got the brisket plate with coleslaw and cream corn with an ice tea. Meat was perfectly cooked and both sides were delicious. Inside it was clean and well lit. It was relaxing to dine as the place is nicely decorated for eating Texas barbecue. The staff and workers were friendly, helpful, and honest. This was my 1st time here and will definitely be back. 👍
First time here and it did not disappoint. Had a large jalapeno Mac n cheese, beans, potato salad, 2 chicken halves, beef ribs, pork ribs and sausage...as much white bread as you want....$90ish. Beef ribs were smaller then expected and a bit chewy, pork ribs were very flavorful as well as the chicken and sausage. Did come with bbq sauce on the side, which was also tasty. Jalapeno Mac and cheese is some of the best I have ever had! Beans and potatoe salad were very good as well! Definitely stop by here if your in the area!
Excellent place that didn't show up in our searches for BBQ on Yelp or Google. We were driving by and happened to see a bunch of cars in the parking lot. After we arrived at our initial choice, we quickly turned around and came back here. Definitely a great choice. 3 of us got a family platter of 2 choices of eat and 6 sides. The brisket and turkey were excellent. Jalapeno Mac and cheese and potato salad was excellent. Cool joint with old-time vibes.
The restaurant is really nice. The food is really good. Has like an old historic look to it. The brisket was a little fatty for me and the green beans I ordered was lightly seasoned, but still pretty good. I would eat here again.
What may be missing in how you’re greeted upon arrival, they make up for with great BBQ. Quaint and simple is how we’d describe The Barbecue Station. Like other BBQ joints in the area, you get your food at the front and then make your way to the tables to consume it. The brisket was moist, sausage was perhaps some of the best we’ve had in a long time, the beans were delicious and well, all-in-all, we left feeling more than satisfied. We’re sure you will too if you haven’t been here yet. We’ll come back when we get the chance to.
So I'm here visiting from out of state. I've been looking for a great BBQ smokey flavor, and boy, did I finally find it. I had the 2 meat brisket and pork rib plate. The really deep smokey brisket flavor drove my palette to wear I was craving. Then, the pork ribs were just right. I truly recommend coming here and trying it out. This will always be a place I come to visit, every time I come to San Antonio now.
Update, back again, and I brought my coworker with me. He loved the pork ribs and mac n cheese. We're going to pass by again to pick some meat to take it back to the family.
Update, came back again. Had lunch the other day and I'm taking back 2 lbs of brisket to the family. Got to love it!!
Came through while on vacation. I ordered the 1 meat plate and I chose brisket as my meat. It was pretty good, well-seasoned. I also got the creamed corn and green beans which was also tasty.
Great food and wonderful service. Gentlemen were eager to answer any questions we had and make suggestions as we were visitors to the state. The atmosphere was amazing and they had a bluegrass band having a jam session in the backroom. It was a very unique and amazing experience!
I’ve had just about all the meats, except for the beef ribs. Pork is awesome brisket, chicken, turkey sausage I’m not really too fond of the sides. I kind of wish it was more soul food like greens that type of thing. And I did not care for the potato salad too mushy and odd tasting. You can tell it’s pure love being put on the grill they may not do greens because people always have an opinion about the greens. My mom did it this way my grandmother did that way all I know the southern way with barbecue potato salad and greens
Brisket, pulled pork and pork loin were all perfect The sides - jalapeño macn’cheese were awesome …
