Guajillo's The Shortcut To Mexico - San Antonio - Photo album

I tried their location in Corpus last year. The couple working in Corpus told us their other location was in San Antonio. I was visiting SA for the weekend and stopped in before driving home. I stopped in on a Monday around 1215. The place was packed, so I knew it would be just as good as the CC lo
What a mexican food delicacy. This surely brings all the Mex without the Tex. If you want some super tasty Mexican food and you are in SA, then this place is a must!. The cochinita pibil is absolutely amazing! Also, don't forget about the flan
First time and definitely not our last! Food was amazing! Service was fast and it was busy which was surprising but amazing! And I’m very picky with my soups and rice it was perfect in my eyes
I was visiting from Austin and wanted some good Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. I'm so glad I found this place. The salsa was insanely good; very spicy, but the garlic flavor was addictive. I had to take some home with me. The pozole verde was hearty, well-seasoned, and the serving was huge. Perfect for
Foods are tasty and service is just very great there! Plates are very big too so that you can bring some back for another meal. Things are not the most reasonable. We got two entrees and two non alcoholic drinks and it was over $50 (including tip) so you need a higher budget for this place.
First time here, but definitely not the last. Very welcoming, and FAST, friendly service. Great pricing from their lunch menu, with each entréecomingw a full-size soup, either fideo ortortilla, FREE CHIPS, AND DELICIOUS SALSA!. I had the Tinga & my buddy the chilaquilles w chicken. We were both v
Don't come here expecting TEX-MEX food. This place serves traditional Mexican food. We're talking Mexico City flavors. They offer a good daily (Mon-Fri) lunch special from 11am-3pm. Complimentary chips and super hot salsa. Their lunch special plates come with a bowl of sopa de fideo or sopa de tort
The food here was superb. The salsa had the perfect amount of spice. Had the Al pastor tacos and I’m probably gonna have to come back tomorrow
I haven't been here in over 10 years due to the fact that in the past my vehicle was towed from the abandoned property next door at that time. With that said I was very happy to visit back to erase that horrible memory. I ordered the fideo soup and for my plate I order cod in tomato sauce with bea
Food and service were both amazing here. I got a tamarind margarita with a tajin rim (the next time I came here they recommended I get a chamoy+tajin rim and it is even better that way) to start with the chips and salsa. The salsa was delicious and spicy. The tamarind margarita was nice, good flavo
Okay listen. I live in Nebraska. I’ve spent my share of time here in San Antonio. I’m staying at a hotel close by. I woke up this afternoon and asked the hotel staff where the best “Tex Mex” restaurant is close by. He recommended this place. You’ll see in the photo why this made me laugh when I arri
Great taste and the salsa is to die for. Service is very accommodating and friendly. Lots of drinks and full meals to choose from, came here with my 2 y/o daughter and wife. The whole family ate good and left happy. Some people come asking for some non sense “Mexican food” and get mad because “they
Run don’t walk to have some amazing food here! It’s a great place to have some real tasty food. Service is really great, ask for Oscar! Have been eating here for years and it has been consistently delicious! Pro tip: add lime to the salsa for a extra bang!
I’ve been coming to this restaurant since it first opened many years ago. Food is excellent and nothing else like it in town. Salsa is so good. Tortilla soup is not your typical style but something I must have with every visit. The broth is excellent. My wife loves the fideo soup.
Highly recommended by a friend for delicious authentic Mexican food. We went on a Friday for a late breakfast and ordered the tortilla soup and chilaquiles special. The soup was savory with roasted chiles. The crispy chilaquiles were served with refried beans and beef or shredded chicken. Went back
Great salsa and margaritas. Loved our serve. Entrees are interesting - not your everyday Tex-Mex. Everything I had was delicious.
One of the best, authentic Mexican restaurants in San Antonio. Everything was fresh and delicious! The guacamole is addicting, make sure you order more than 1 if you don’t plan to share! The salsa packs the perfect heat and flavor. Tasty Frozen margaritas to go. Overall, this is one of our favorite
