Mexican Manhattan

The service and food are always excellent. They make a mean margarita that was absolutely delicious! Been a customer for over 30 years. And my husband has been going since he was a child with his parents. Since 1959. We did have the pick of outside tables since no one was there. This place is iconic. We plan to support it by going at least 2-3 times a month. If you are reading this review... I hope you will do the same. There were only 5 tables inside with people. And us outside. 3 other couples came in after us. We love Mexican Manhattan! So others please help support what's considered an important piece of San Antonio.

My friends and I have been going to Mexican Manhattan since we met 38 years ago. We were celebrating our dear friend Yolanda's Retirement. Yolanda was the only one still working downtown. Congratulations Yolanda. We will continue our lunches to Mexican Manhattan. Thank you for great food and great Customer Service.

Now this place does not look like a lot on the outside. But wow once you walk in you are meet with love and a helpful staff. I placed a carry out order and the cashier (Juanita) was helpful in making some recommendations. She also sung happy birthday to a costumer. I ordered the Manhatten Royal. She saidbit was a lot of food. And bit was she right. I ate every bit of it. Only order this if you are super hungry.

My first time here, and it was great! Mexican-America authentic flavor to their food. We ordered Flautas and Enchiladas. We stopped by the bar to grab a couple of adult beverages. As we talked to the bartender, he told us they make their Fruit margaritas with fresh fruit: Piña and strawberry. We did not order margaritas, but we did see him make them. Very friendly atmosphere. There is an option to eat outside, and the terrace faces the Riverwalk.
