This is one of my favorite breakfast taco spots in town. Good prices and great, no-frills breakfast. I’ve been here over a dozen times and all of the standard tacos are good, including the “El Feo” which is worth the nearly $1 extra. I’d give the food a 5-star rating, but the coffee is dependably miserable, tasting acidic and like it has been on a burner for days. The coffee isn’t worth the $2 they charge for it, even if it is bottomless. The coffee won’t stop me from coming, but I won’t be ordering it anymore. Service is good and even pickup as well. I regularly ride my bike here.

Just astonishingly good food, especially for the prices. Perfectly crisp chips, hand made tortillas cooked just right. The cilantro crema on the enchiladas was frothy, herbaceous, and delicate and was incredible together with the chicken enchiladas and the white sauce, which seemed to be something between cheese and crema. Beans were on point. The green and red sauces they served were also outstanding. The green sauce seemed to be a lovely guactillo that was significantly spicier than a green sauce usually is. It was bright, creamy, with a vague note of citrus, and was luxuriously spicy in the mouth with a clean finish that didn’t linger. The red seemed to be perhaps an árbol chile sauce(?), and was acidic, earthy, and took its time burning pleasantly in the back of the throat. Two of us ate, extremely hearty meals, for less than $20. Probably the best meal we had in San Antonio.

Delicious, no frills, cheap and filling food. The refried beans had so much flavor and the house salsa with chips is served warm. Both the verde and roja salsa in bottles were spicy and packed tons of flavor. Service was friendly, attentive and welcoming.

A St Mary's St survivor, thank goodness. It is a bright, homey place, service is prompt and friendly. Great Tex-Mex - breakfast is particularly good - huevos Rancheros, a wide selection of breakfast tacos, homemade corn tortillas - very good. Salsa verde is tangy with fresh tomatillos.

Excellent Tex-Mex breakfast! We visited for the first time today. I had heard about it at some point on TV or word of mouth and had it flagged to try. The Huevos Rancheros Plate and Machacado Plate did not disappoint. Homemade flour tortillas and the papa con chorizo that is served is the icing on the cake! We’ll be back!

Very nice Mexican restaurant. Great place to eat Mexican food when your missing the taste of home. We went for breakfast and recommend everything on the menu. Atmosphere was very nice and clean. Friendly waiters as well. Did have a bit of trouble with parking but overall a great experience.

Don't mind the parking issues, it's standard for this area. We had the huevos rancheros with carne guisada and chiliquilas nortenos. I'm in love with the guisada gravy!! We'll be back!

Oh my god. The food was great! Great portions, and the servers were so kind and helped with seating arrangements. Also, the atmosphere here was superb, everyone talking and laughing a baby crying (total chaos). I love it when a place allows you to just be and knows how to take control. Props to all the waitresses they are out of this world.

I wanted to try the menudo at this place since most of the reviews said that it was the best in San Antonio. I think it was okay however our menudo was not very warm temperature wise. The flavor was good as they include pigs feet just wish it was hotter. On the bright side the service was great and the two tacos we ordered were delicious.
