Saltgrass Steak House

You are paying mainly for location at this Saltgrass. My t-bone steak was good, not great. The staff was cordial, but not real friendly or attentive. I went on a Sunday later afternoon, so it wasn't so busy and the wait time was a few minutes. I tried going also on a Saturday night around 6pm, and the wait time was over 1 1/2 hours. So I ended up going to a different restaurant with a much more shorter wait time. Overall my experience with this location was 4 stars, and I would definitely go again on a slow day where the wait time is less than 20 mins.

Went here for an early dinner and to take advantage of the happy hour. Everything we had was pretty good. We had the fried mushrooms, fried pickles and peppers, and stuffed jalapenos. For the main dish, I had the NY strip and it was cooked close to my desire. I asked for medium and it was closer to medium rare, but still had a good flavor. Our waitress was great, and the view was awesome.

Great food, the server kept forgetting a couple things and we waited long from a refill because she didn't really come back as much. The atmosphere was a little loud but a game was on so I guess that was all the hype. Its right by the river so we will definitely be back again to test out the outdoor area...

Unfortunately we couldn't get a table outside on the river, so had to sit inside. Got the Pickles & Peppers for an appetizer which were good. I got Potato Soup and Ceaser salad. The soup was very rich but good. The Salad was just ok. My husband got a side salad with the 12oz Ribeye. He said it was very grisly. Service however was good. Our waitress was Jessica and she was great.

We were seated within 20 minutes on a Saturday night. We sat on the river side of the outer balcony. The bar drinks were good, the salads were great and the fillet steaks were delicious. One was overcooked and was comped with no discussion. The steaks were a good cut. The chocolate dessert cake was too large a portion and was a bit dry. Overall it was a nice experience.
