Revisited this establishment. Our group of 4 was not disappointed. Our wait person was Vanessa. She was attentive, courteous, and professional. Our orders were confirmed and prepared as requested. My guests order the children's prime rib and me the steak brazzos. My assessment from August of this year is still the same. I've added some additional pictures and hope your experience is as good as ours. From August 2023 =============== You can not go wrong, stopping in at this local establishment to enjoy a well cooked steak, nice mahogany wood surrounding you, and excellent service. We stopped in today for lunch to celebrate someone's birthday. We were quickly seated in Geri's section. She greeted us, verified everyone had menus, and took our presented drink orders. After enough time had passed, she took our main course orders and kept our drinks topped off. Our food was delivered when it was ready, and he steaks were cooked to perfection. Some in our party had prime rib, while others had the filet medallions on a bed if mash potatoes covered with mushroom sauce (Steak Brazzos). We opted to celebrate by ordering the desert she recommended, called Powerful Stuff. OMG, you need to save some room to try this desert (it is seasonal, so beware it may not always be available) I highly recommend you try this place, and I hope your experience will be as good as mine. Yesterday was my birthday and my date and and I came here to celebrate 45th birthday. His first time eating there however not mine I've been here several times and I have ALWAYS LOVED IT. Our waiter was amazing! He serviced us and we were well pleased and it showed in the tip we tipped gave him. We both received carrot cakes (one for me because of my birthday and one for him because it was his first time there). The only thing was when we finally got our food my loaded baked potato was cold, I asked for them to warm it up in the microwave but my date was like no give her another freshly made loaded potato. But I'm not going to complain because everything else was AMAZING as always. Thank you ⚘

Came for the Prime rib, with their smashed potatoes and au jus sauce. The Prime rib had a nice salty flavor and was tender with plenty of chew. The au jus that accompanied was mostly flavorless and watery in my opinion. There was also a side of horseradish that went well with the meat along the potatoes, and wasn't overbearing. The potatoes were tasty and had great texture and a great portion. Lastly, we took a crack at their carrot cake. It was quite delicious and the most moist carrot cake I've had to date, Service was great and food came out in reasonable timing. Overall thumbs up. Thanks, Mr. J! 4.7/5

Update: We visited here and had dinner since our first trip here. We had an appetizer of Calamari, A Meat Loaf Entree, and a Steak Maui 14oz. Entree with Mashed potatoes for the sides, a Caesar Salad and a Key Lime Pie. The food was excellent as always with great customer service by Francisco. We will definitely return again and would certainly continue to recommend people come here. We stopped in here yesterday for lunch. I had the Steak Burger with shoestring like fries and it was very delicious. The burger was moist and tender and had a great flavor. Fries were on point as well. Hubby had the Salmon Thai entree with BBQ Sauce and a side of Orzo and Wild Rice. He said it was very good and that the salmon was well seasoned and moist. The Orzo and Wild Rice side dish had cranberries and was also very good. We will definitely return and would certainly recommend. We started eating and it was all so good before we even remembered that we needed to snap pictures.

A rare lunch out of the office became a delightful escape from the hustle. We were promptly greeted and sat by the courteous host. Our server took our drink order and gave us a moment to look at the specials. The lasagna must be good because it was already gone. Everything was delicious! Service was professional. Any menu questions, table clearing and service was quality with kindness. The experience at J Alexanders was superb. The weekend has begun!
