So we tried this place for the first time. My stepdad ordered the menudo which came with a piece of metal from metal scrubbers. He actually put it in his mouth. Talk about disgusting! We spoke to manager/owner. Any good manager or owner would have discounted his meal. Did he? Nope. Because of the lack of customer service skills we will not return. The waitres was great Wendy. But still would not go back. Because of Wendy I scored it a 2.

Came in by accident and im really happy we did. What a great authentic mom n pop restaurant. Very nice service from the ladies! Here at noon on a Sunday this place is filled with other Latino families. A good sign. I feel if i go eat at a Chinese restaurant and the patrons are Chinese then thats the place to go to. Just like here. The tacos are huge. I asked for guacamole n it was made fresh for me! I didnt order the Menuedo but a lot of others did. I want to try it next time. Great breakfast spot. Coffee was strong n hot. We will come back.

Great food!! Great Staff!! Excellent service!! Update! The food at Abuela's is consistently good. Always a great selection of daily lunch specials. A family owned Mexican restaurant with very friendly attentive servers. Amazing overall staff that greet customers with a big smile. My favorite here is the Menudo, Country Guisado Tacos, 911 Special, Chile Relleno, Enchiladas Mexicanas and Huevo Rancheros.

To be honest I have only ever had the breakfast tacos from here. Now they may be a little more than others price wise but I happily pay a little more as I feel it's worth it. The Carne Guisada taco is heaven and dang near enough to feed the wife twice. The refried beans are flavorful and the bean and cheese or bean and egg tacos just hit the spot.

Ordered two plates of what was supposed to be chicken with squash. When order was given to me i smelled something fishy. I did not think much of it until i got to my job site and open the plastic bag. I smelled the smell of spoiled fish that was cooked. Opening the plate was even worse. Inside each plate was two very small patties of what i guess is suppose to be fish. They are grinded and made into patties. Also inside the plate was cactus in a very watery red sauce. They were not edible. The only thing i could eat was the cup of beans/soup. It was good but i ended up having to turn my stomach upside down.
