My wife and I visited 54th Street during happy hour and the parking lot was filled. We circled around twice to find a spot. The parking lot is small. There was no wait to sit down which was nice considering the parking lot was full.
We ordered a couple of drinks and appetizers. I drank a Snickerdoodle and HELLO! My alcohol level is very low to zero. Lol. My mind was drifting halfway into the drink.
The appetizers were nice. We ordered Bean & Cheese Nachos, meat balls and tater kegs. The bean and cheese nachos are a big plate. Definitely, three people can eat from it. The presentation of the plate is nice and it tasted good. The meatballs are around the size of tennis balls. It was good. The combo of the meat and sauce eas tasty. The tater kegs were fun to eat. We chose the cheese dip. It had little bits of bacon in the tater kegs to give it a nice flavor. We finished the tater kegs and the meatballs. There were lots of nachos leftover. It's okay. We enjoyed ourselves and had a good time.
Our waitress was nice. She did great. She wasn't over us the whole time if you know what I mean. The men's restrooms were clean and the stall had toilet paper ✅️. It was a little stuffy in there. They probably need to work on the exhaust vent.🫥
Overall, we had a good time. 54th Street made it enjoyable with the food drinks and service. It was a successful date night. Thank you.

Roy was our server and very attentive to our needs. 2 can done for 29.99 was a great deal for my wife, my son, and I to split. The tater tots were amazing. Cheesy and with bacon. The Cajun chicken Philly was flavorful. The New York style cheese cake was 😋😋😋

We ordered the fried cheese appetizer (mozzarella sticks and cheese curds) and that was very good. The side of Brussels sprouts was also pretty good, a lot of vinaigrette though. My husband loved the loaded beans side but it has a little spice. As for the rest of our meal, the food was sub par at best and very overpriced for the quality. The meatball appetizer looked like it was going to be really tasty but the meat was way over cooked and dry. The mac & cheese tested worse than cafeteria mac & cheese. No flavor. My husband was excited to try the half rack of ribs, and he was very disappointed. He said they were very dry and overcooked. He also got the chicken tenders and they looked very dry so we took them to go. I’ve eaten at 54th Street Grill in the past and really enjoyed the food but it’s been a few years and the quality has diminished greatly. We didn’t complain about the food to the server, but I’m sure if we had she would have let us order some thing else. Our server was great and checked on us in a timely manner. Be sure to get on the waitlist ahead of time or make a reservation if you’re visiting on a weekend as it gets pretty busy. About 2 hour wait around 7pm. Our total was $60+ for 2.

Enjoy the lively atmosphere and ambience here. Sat at the bar for quicker seating, and had great service. Order the scallops and shrimp with a loaded baked potato they were phenomenal.

I had the country fried steak and um yummmmmmm. So good to have some good old Texas food. The sides were great and I could drink a bowl of the gravy. Our waiter was perfect. Overall great dining experience with family and friends.

Only downside, we waited 1 hour to be seated after signing in on a Thursday evening. *update* Came in for dinner on a Tuesday night and tried their dinner for 2. As always, the waitress was amazing, and the food was delicious.

The beer was cold and price was great. The Flat Iron Fajitas were almost perfect with except for the tortillas which were not good. For San Antonio I would classify the tortillas as poor. If this was improved would be 5 star. Service was good and Atmosphere was amazing. Think is excellent place for Happy Hour Drinks.

All of our food was great. We got the tortilla soup, chicken fried chicken, chicken maderia, and fried mushrooms. For drinks we did a margarita ans old fashioned and they were decent. Service was great. They have a huge menu with lots of options. Pretty good happy hour Monday thru Friday!

Didn't want the wife's talapia dinner so I Got me a FATBURGER from 54st...TO GO....of course I shared it...maybe a bite or two but that's it! Perfectly cooked and still warm when I got it home. This delicious burger had the perfect sunny side up egg on top too. Fresh veggies and fat slices of bacon n cheese...the egg yoke is what made it extra special...Fries were nicely seasoned....just wish they had some milkshakes to go with it ...didn't dine in but some family members did and were nice enough to bring me this delicious combo. Hope to fine in soon. Thanks for the meal fam.

Meal was great. Our server Barbie took care of us really well while also tending to the bar. The manager Julian is always cheery and greets each table. I would recommend this place to any family or couple on a date night.

It's my 1st time ordering a burger at this establishment. Im not a fan of the food served at this chain but I'll still order on occasion. My burger wasn't bad at all, it was satisfying. Service needs improvement, as usual. Food takes over 40 min to come out and the server kept getting our order wrong. The atmosphere is always fun and upbeat.
If you're into "junk food" and good drinks, this is your place. Come check them out for yourself!

Very good service albeit the waitress confused what items went on the separate orders. She was very nice and had no problem rectifying her mistake. The food that I had was the tater kegs and spicy chicken sandwich. Both were flavorful and very delicious. The chicken was actually prepared with some good herbs and spices versus just being fried and thrown on a bun. I really liked the setting with all the random items hanging from the wall. I would definitely go back again without hesitating.

I server was amazing but my Mac was dry it was heated up to long!! And KFC WASH dry!! We waited almost an hour for food to come out for A manager to say there is no more bake patatoe!! And the manager was being roud!! Another manager came out to fix the problem and he was professional about everything

We loved it. We got there on Friday night around6:30 they said we’d be seated within 15 to 20 minutes which we were.(2 of us)
We received attention from our waitress in under 2 minutes for our drinks and appetizer order, which we received in under 5 minutes. Our waitress Sam was great she kept checking on us, got our order in, and it came out quickly too! Usually at most restaurants we have time to play at least one game of Farkle while waiting for our food. They were very good. Plenty of butter for my baked potato � great salad � and my steak was pretty much perfect � the only thing I would change next time would be to tell them less pepper and a “touch” more salt on the � meat. � thanks.

We loved it! Came by today and we didn’t even wait more than 2 min to get seated (which was a great start). Our waitress (Melanie) was very friendly and was on point with service. My steak was burnt on the edges and had a cold spot in the middle, our server forgot to put in our appetizer order and brought it out as our main meal was being served, I told her to take it off my bill because it supposed to be an appetizer not desert.

Great place, great food and excellent service. We got there and ordered our drinks. Our server was at the end of her shift. She came back with our drinks and introduced us to the person replacing her. Smooth transition. Both were very professional. We will definitely go back!

I was very disappointed in my dinner. It had come highly recommended by friends. The appetizer was very small for the price and we had to ask for things, such as mayo and rice that was ordered several times before we finally got it. My hamburger was good but my sister in laws tortilla was cold and the meat was not very flavorful. Then the bill ended up being messed up.

Use to go to this location a lot when it 1st opened and it was great but it has gone downhill. Last 2 times food was not all that good and yesterday was the 3rd time and final time. Over cooked food drinks were nasty. Sorry never again

Try the Summer Salad - it's delicious - I was given the option to get a large and it had chicken on it (grilled too) - totally impressed and I was even able to add carrots and cucumbers on it.
