We visited on a Monday afternoon for lunch. The weather outside was great and it was a perfect day to sit on the patio. We were seated quickly when we arrived.
Our server Joie was great and so was the food. We had the Fire Roasted Chicken with corn and a house salad. We also had the Steak Chimichurri with asparagus and a Caesar salad.
Came here for a girls night out/birthday celebration. Super cute and a beautiful patio. Docked a star because we had a large group and they wanted to cram us into two tables elbow to elbow but asked for a 3rd. I get it, that’s another table spot, but we didn’t stay longer than normal.
I got the chicken sandwich. HIGHLY recommend! It was delicious and the fries and onion rings were great too. We had chips and salsa as well as some kind of nachos for an app. I’d skip those, they are the best and for the value you really don’t get much.
The frozen margarita was so good. And strong! I had two and that was enough for me.
Everyone loved their food choices. We all agreed we’d come back again and maybe sit outside in the patio in nicer weather.
Parking is next to the restaurant and they validate your ticket when you go to pay your tab.
I came for the fire roasted chicken but they were out of it so then my second choice was the Cuban sandwich that was highly recommended but they were out of that as well 🥹 so I went with their grilled cheese special which was good. I just wish I would have tried their chicken and corn or the Cuban sandwich that was highly recommended by others. The atmosphere was chill and beautiful. We ate outdoors. The heaters were perfect for this chilly night and the staff was incredibly sweet and helpful! We will definitely be back! Their strawberry margarita had me “feelin in” within the first few sips. We also had the chocolate sheet cake with ice cream which was quite delightful 😄😊
Tried Down on Grayson for the first time and it was yummy! We sat inside and there wasn't any wait. Our server was so sweet and patient as we got caught up in our conversation.
The only thing that I disliked were the flies. It's pretty well known for it's outdoor seating, but that means people are going in and out. There's also a bar from the outside that was open into the restaurant. I think both of these contributed to the flies.
Great, tender steak on an Asian inspired salad with some noodles and other interesting bits. Loved the dressing, loved the components, loved the presentation.
There was also a "mocktail" with berries and lemonade that was good but not great, and I appreciate the waiter taking off my friend's salad that had a small piece of plastic in it. (Maybe something blended got stirred with a plastic utensil?)
Arrived with a party of 8 on a Saturday at 6pm and waited 30 mins for our table to be ready. Service was a little slow which we understood since it was peak hours. When our food arrived we had no silverware which was disappointing. All the food was great, i had ordered the fire roasted chicken and the portion was ginormous!!!! The steak chimichurri (a little overcooked) but we didn’t mind and the atmosphere was amazing. Drinks were strong and tasty.
My son and I came here for my birthday last night! Not only did we get exceptional service in getting seated, our server was amazing and knowledgeable and took very good care of us. Everything we had, from the appetizers all the way down to the coconut cake for dessert was so delicious! It was such a delightful evening and a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday! The ambiance here is always so nice! Relaxed, yet classy! Everybody was on their toes, and you could tell that the staff works really well together! Very impressed by our visit and we will be back! Definitely worth the drive from Canyon Lake and San Marcos! Thank you guys for a memorable evening for my birthday! And kudos to our server! She was so sweet!
Brianna was a wonderful server and the appetizers were delicious 😋. I had a lovely Rose and my friend got the spicy margarita with fresh jalapenos in it! Good times

First timers and definitely going back. Large menu with all kinds of interesting things. I had a delicious Cob Salad for lunch, Brussel sprouts and chili peppers for a shared appetizer. Delicious. Friendly service and awesome drink menu. Nice wine selection as well. Kid friendly outside seating to take advantage of the springtime, fall & winter weather. Definitely going back. Great location across from the Pearl. One thing about sitting outside, it could be a bit noisy due to the closeness of the elevated freeway.
