Alright you all. Let’s talk about this late night ice creamery called Lick. I went to the Pearl location and I have been wanting to try this place for a whole year almost. The ice cream is fresh and made in house. I do have to say they do not have a big selection of different flavors. But you have plenty to ensure you get what your palate needs and wants to an extend. The workers were friendly and place clean. It is on the pricier side of ice cream but that is because of the quality products they use to create the ice cream. They have some unique flavor and it’s worth a try. They’re infused flavor and basic typical flavors are really packed with flavor and you can taste the quality ingredients. I would give it a try but just know you are getting quality ingredients not quantity. What I mean by that is a smorgasbord of flavor you will not see or add ins. But you will be pleased with what they do have to offer. Sometimes simplicity is better…give it a try you all.
Lick Honest Ice Cream Center truly exceeded my expectations! Julia's service was top-notch, and I must say, every flavor of ice cream I indulged in was absolutely delectable. A delightful experience that I highly recommend to all ice cream enthusiasts!
Lick is a cute ice cream shop at the pearl. they have some interesting flavors, as i tried the roasted beet and fresh mint and was pleasantly surprised at how good the combo was ! we ended up getting goat cheese, thyme and honey and the dark chocolate, olive oil and sea salt. my oh my both flavors were exactly what i was looking for, a nice balance of savory and sweet. I will say, i was a bit disappointed of the size of the scoops but it was close to the closing time and pretty busy, so i could understand if they didn’t have much left. regardless, it was the perfect portion for two after a big dinner. (i enjoyed it so much i forgot to take a pic) the staff was super sweet (shoutout to the worker for giving me the song ID) and i love what they did to the place for pride month, it was adorable ! overall, they have creamy delicious ice cream, with regular, dairy free, sugar free and vegan options, and tons of yummy flavors to choose from. it does get busy so be aware of that :)
A small chain SA exclusive ice cream shop. It's a very small shop with limited flavor but what they have is very good. When I came in, there was a little line, but employees were still engaged with my little ones and allowed them to try before purchasing. The waffle cone is a must! They also can do ice cream sandwich if you choose. The best flavor was the seasonal cookie and cream my daughter chose. Personally, I thought it was one of the best cookies and creams I've had so far.
Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this ice cream shop. I would recommend coming to the Pearl location so you can check out the other shops around the area
The staff is always friendly and the place is clean. The ice creams are flavors you’ve probably never heard of or tried but they are always delicious. The line moves fast and they also let you ask for samples. One of my favorite items to order is the ice cream vanilla float. It’s very good and they let you take the bottle. It’s also in a great location where you can sit or continue to go on a nice scenic walk. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking to visit this part of town.
This ice cream shop was recommend, It's really super cool in the Pearl brewery plaza. The ice creams are very unique it's not like Baskin-Robbins 33 flavors though. There are about maybe 15 or 20 flavors but they are so different and unique. You must go down there and try it. The ice cream was so smooth creamy and cold it was definitely a different taste to it, it actually tasted kind of healthy too with natural ingredients. The shop is very clean, quiet, and friendly staff. I would recommend checking it out if you're ever down there.

Lick is always consistently good. I like how they keep their staple flavors the same, but also have seasonal flavors that are constantly rotating or introducing new flavors. Service is always fast and friendly. Line may get long at peak times, but always moves quickly.
My favorite place to get dairy free ice cream! All their dairy free ice cream has the same texture as real ice cream and Is packed with flavor without all the sugar that makes ice cream too rich or hurts after you eat it. My favorite is the chocolate chocolate flavor! It’s the best refreshing snack that you don’t have to feel guilty about after. The price is pretty high, but I still enjoy treating myself here from time to time.
The ice cream was amazing. Perfectly churned!!!! The Spring flavors were very unique and very tasty!!! Beware lactose intolerant customers, they use real milk...AND IT IS DELICIOUS!!!! I loved the vanilla waffle cone. It went perfectly with my Garden Lemon scoop. My friend enjoyed her Tamgerine Dream. 🥰Highly recommend this spot for flavorful ice cream.
