Service: 7/10 Cauliflower wings: 9/10 Orange tofu: 3/10 "Hostess" cupcake: 7/10 I love restaurants that emphasize an environmentally sustainable, cruelty-free vegan/vegetarian lifestyle. Too bad the menu here isn't 100% vegan - but all items are vegetarian, and some that are not vegan have vegan options. Interesting to learn that the same company owns both Green Vegetarian Cuisine and Earth Burger. There's a broad selection of menu items, which is good. Too bad breakfast isn't available all day. I would like more healthy menu items, but it is good that there are several healthy choices. The acoustics don't seem great - the room is pretty echoey. But it's not a bad little restaurant. The cauliflower wings (I neglected to take a photo) are excellent, the best I've ever had. Highly recommended - as long as you don't mind eating something deep fried. Not the healthiest choice. The orange tofu was highly disappointing. The tofu, broccoli and slaw were all quite bland and flavorless. I asked for more orange sauce, hoping that would fix it. That didn't add any flavor, but just made it extremely salty. At least it's a halfway healthy choice (although I think the tofu is fried?) - perhaps it would be more enjoyable with getting some other sauce on the side. The hostess cupcake wasn't bad. Not great, but as good as a typical snack cake from a store shelf. Props for making a convincing baked good that's completely vegan.

Good noodle dishes. I will definitely return. That said, it’s not my favorite noodle house in San Antonio.

I've been going to Green for years now starting from the Pearl location. I haven't been back for a while due to the pandemic and not being in the area too much. Last night, we dropped by the "new" Quarry location. I got their Vegan Chicken Fried Steak. Absolutely delicious. I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian so I've had my fair share of the real thing. This absolutely checks all the boxes. Crispy batter, moist inside, and flavorful gravy on top. I opted for different sides; instead of mashed potato and kale salad, I asked for quinoa and broccoli. Delicious nonetheless. We also ordered the fried pickles and onion rings. They are crispy and oh-so-good. They also have amazing baked goods! I definitely recommend the vegan hostess cupcakes.

I won’t go into details but I was having a terrible day when I walked in with my daughter to pick up my order. The woman at the counter must have sensed it or maybe I looked terrible because she was very sweet to me and my daughter. I decided to sit down at a table because the atmosphere was so warm and inviting so she had the waitstaff bring plates and forks. Although they were out of cookies and apple juice, she gave my daughter sparkling water that made her feel very adult like. The food was great too—eggplant Parmesan and noodles. Eggplant was light and crispy. My daughter is picky but she loved her kids meal. I don’t know her name but this was the highlight of a very bad, no good, terrible day. I’ve gone here for pickup a few times and the food is always good. Will definitely dine in more!

Hands down one of the best Vegetarian friendly restaurants this city has to offer!! I’ve brought a variety of friends that didn’t know vegetables could taste so savory and delicious and they loved their meals! I’m personally not a vegetarian but it doesn’t mean I can’t have appreciation for a well made meal and eating there has inspired me to have more plant based meals cooking at home. 10/10 recommend everyone to try, even meat eaters because you won’t be disappointed. Everyone should break out of their comfort zone every now and then :)

Almost lost a star for service, but the food made up for it. My wife got the masala burger and I got the big nasty burger. Both very tasty. Garlicky cucumbers were different but good. Cauliflower wings were on point. We got them dry and got all the different sauces on the side. Lastly the cucumber and mint water was refreshing. If your kids like grilled cheese sandwiches, don't get them here. It was delicious but the kids barely touched the grilled cheese. It was too fancy for them.

Visit 2: July 27, 2022 Never before we ever went back to the sand restaurant two straight days. The dessert was so good yesterday and menu looked so interesting we decided to visit again today. Food is as excellent as desserts. They are very good sized portions that are easily shareable. Many dishes find with sides and don't forget to try the yummy sweet potato fries 😋🍟. The brownie is so good you should definitely take it home and have it with an ice cream 🍨. Visit 1: July 26, 2022 Excellent vegan restaurant. Loved the items on the menu but we were here only for the desserts. Good ambience sand excellent staff with great service. Hope to return soon.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! My girlfriend and my little sister and I loved this place!!! The food is so amazing that both my sister and my girlfriend are now thinking about going vegetarian as well! The staff is literally amazing and the atmosphere is so cozy, but the food is genuinely the best thing I've ever eaten. I've never been to an all-vegetarian restaurant so seeing the menu and knowing I could get whatever I wanted was really worth it.

Everything was fantastic. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious. I had the cauliflower steak and the pesto dressing was possibly the best pesto I've ever had. I had a side of broccoli that was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes really hit the spot. My spouse had the burger and I got a bite, and it was delicious. If you're in the area and want a wonderful vegetarian meal, be sure to stop by.
