I've been frequenting this place for years. The breakfast plates are fantastic. The french toast is a guaranteed win every time. Their lunch menu is great too. You can't go wrong choosing to eat here. Mom and Pop who own the place are really kind and fun.

Me and my boyfriend go to Big Eds all the time. They are always so nice and quick to get our meal out. Plus everything is delicious! They have good music and a laid back atmosphere. I also like how inexpensive they are. Favorite place for both breakfast and lunch.

Big Ed's has a special place in my heart. I come here with friends a few times a month to destress and have a beer. Their chicken wings are delicious, and the espresso drinks on the menu are hilarious. I love how cozy it feels, and the owners are super attentive and give great customer service.

Big Ed's is a cute little bar in the wall across the street from the University of Utah. They serve breakfast all day and have killer omelettes. The coffee challenges are funny and the beer never runs dry. It's owned by mom and pop who run and work the bar and are always full of smiles. While small, it feels cozy and is always a blast.

The place is a bit small, so I recommend going during times that aren't as busy. The breakfast plates are delicious and I've never had a bad burger from them. If you attend the University, you have to go here.

Got an awesome chili burger, tasty fries and an adult beverage for a very reasonable price with great service, I look forward to trying them again. Unfortunately parking is a bear, I found a spot but got scolded by an attendant so I was worried about my car the whole time so the meal was not as enjoyable as it could have been.

Big Eds is just a staple from my college days. I always thought there was some guy back in the restaurant that was huge (big) and was named Ed. Imagine my surprise when the real force behind the restaurant was a small Asian women affectionately named "mom." The best dish here is the Gawd Awful and it hasn't changed in years. The chili really helps with the hangovers! The restaurant is a bit dark but that should only add to the abidance.. it is a hole in the wall after all! Enjoy your experience :)

Cheap eats right across from campus. Can get crowded during the lunch time, but otherwise pretty chill. Food isn't gourmet or anything, but it will do the job if your looking for something a bit greasy.

Burger fries and a tall can please! That's the standard order you hear. They have a burger and fries for 3.70 or so and a tall can for 3. Dive style, popular amongst university students new and old. Also try the gawd awful it's hash browns eggs smothered in their house chili, cheese, sour cream onions. Splash on some Tobasco and your good to go.

BIg Ed's is one of the premiere restaurants around the University of Utah. I highly recommend the Cheeseburger Fries. If you're looking for something more filling, try the Gawd Awful or the Hangover Roundhouse. Best food around.
