That was delicious! The food was very good! Fun and unique flavors. The pizza wasn't soggy like many wood fired pizzas can be. The dessert pizza was amazing! I really enjoyed the salad. It was fresh and had a great mix of flavors. The cheese and meat plate was really good too. I'd recommend that as a starter while you're waiting on the pizza. The atmosphere was nice (a little too dark for my liking) but looked nice. The process to make your order was a bit confusing, and the workers weren't terribly helpful at first. We walked in and just stood there for a few minutes at the glass at the front where it looks like you should order. We were finally told to go around the counter and order down the row instead. Once we ordered though the service and the experience were great!

Stopped by on our trip to Salt Lake City since we were looking for gluten free pizza. Overheard someone say this was the best gluten free pizza in Salt Lake City so we put it to the test. Overall it was good. The place sure is unique along with many types of pizzas. There’s something for everyone. Pizza was tasty. Wouldn’t say it’s the best we’ve ever had, but it surely is pretty good and unique, would come here again. They take safety precautions with allergies.

Tried this place for dinner last night and let me tell you, their food is so tasty! I wish we would have gotten it to go because it was so hot inside the building though! This place would be great to go to for a business meeting or a special occasion since they are pretty pricey. We got: Angry Pig calzone - So tasty but really spicy! Mike loved the spice but I could only handle a tiny bit! Half Caesar Salad: Isaac wanted this and got egg as an add-on. He said it was really good, so it’s six-year-old approved! Margarita Pizza: This was seriously the highlight. It was amazing and the crust was thin and crunchy while still being fluffy chewy. The toppings were obviously fresh and plentiful. The best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life! It was my first time eating at this place and I loved it. I ordered Chicken Pesto pizza and it was really good! Also, the garlic bread was delicious. The customer service was awesome! They are very gentle with customers! Highly recommended! It is a great place to eat with some friends, family members, or your date!

Pretty neat! I tried their calzone and was not disappointed! They had a coconut lemonade! How wild is that?! It was pretty good. I'll return here to get a pizza next time. All of the food that they were pushing out looked great. If you are dining in and getting your own meal. You shouldn't need any plates. I felt bad for grabbing a plate because we never used it.

We love MidiCi Pizza and have had a great experience the couple times we have gone. The food is fresh and full of flavor and the employees are always very friendly. Excited to see Gateway slowly regaining life... we will for sure be back.

The place is nice! Love the environment and experience you get from coming here. The food is fantastic and at a great price! Try the Nutella bites they are amazing! The cream sodas are also delicious. The biggest thing is the wait. When it’s busy, expect some delays.

We went here today for late lunch. Me and my daughter enjoyed the pizza. So basically you ordered it and then you paid first. After that they'll bring your food. Cheap, fresh ingredients, great service, fast. Overall nothing to complain here. We'll be back for more. Thank you for having us ☺. We came here the second time on Chinese new year january -February 2020 before the pandemic. We were just ordering the nutella calzone dessert with berries( yummy, quick service and big portions) as usual. Pleasant service as well. No complaints so far. Came here the third time on Sunday night (08/30/2020), again same service, friendly, quick, pleasant. This time we're ordered the angry pig calzone for me, and pepperoni pizza for my kid. Overall great, only the pepperoni was spicy for my kid, but its all good. And we'll see you next time. Keep up the good food and service :)

We enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly staff, and several of the delicious pie. The pizza is good, crust a bit chewy, and toppings light. We loved seeing the local gelato shop represented and my kids are still talking about the Nutella bites.

Loved the entire athmosphere of MidiCi! This restaurant is Italian style wood-fire pizza baked under 90 seconds and some of their olive oil is good quality. Really appreciated for Mediterranean paladar :) I was quite satisfied half way eating my pizzas ~ I want to come back to try their special Nutella desserts.

Delicious pizza! I loved how chewy the crust was and how creative the pizzas were. The Caesar salad didn’t have romaine because of a recall but I liked it better anyway...it wasn’t a skimpy salad but nice and full. I would have given 5 stars but they were out of several wines and beers so that was my only complaint. Otherwise loved it. Loved the space as well

Enjoyed the ambiance of the place and the service was great. I we tried a few of their pizzas out and enjoyed the margarita with with prosciutto best. I will try some of their spicy varieties next time. As far as pricing, you are looking about $10 to $15 per pizza, plus a few bucks for drink, and possibly gelato if you are feeling up to it. There are a few of these wood fired pizza places in town now. We will be back.

Pizza was good and the staff was very sweet. Took a bit of time to get our drinks but I think that was more because of the laws in UT and there being only one person who could bring us our drinks. The restaurant is full of very fun quotes…see pictures…which made our very large party of 14 smile.

Picked up the Forrest Pizza to go! It was easy to order ahead, easy to find, and parked in the 5 minute parking to pick it up. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! The location looked like a great place to stay and eat. I definitely want to go back to enjoy it at the restaurant. The Forrest pizza was delicious too! Definitely will go back.

Enjoyed my experience here. Came for their grand opening free margarita pizza event and expected long lines but the line moved very quickly. Got to watch them make our pizza dough and add the toppings to our pizzas as we waited in line like at Subway. Large selection of imported gourmet toppings that all looked really fresh. Pizzas are baked in a wood fire stone oven and get to watch them being baked. They had salads and desserts on display that looked very good so we got a side caesar salad to go with our pizza. It was fresh and good and liked that they tossed it in the Caesar dressing before searving it to us and finished it with fresh shaved parmesan cheese. They had a various flavors of lemonade and Italian cream sodas and the lemonade was good but wouldn't recommend the cream soda (should have added strawberry Sunday topping to it with chunks of real strawberry) The restaurant had nice comfortable seating and even though the free pizza offer made it very busy we still were able to find a table. The server that brought us our food once it finished baking was very helpful and brought us straws and plates and silverware even though we were supposed to have gotten them at the drink stand on our own while getting our drinks. Overall liked the experience and the pizza while not the best I've ever had was good. Great place to take a date before a movie or comedy show because the service and price are better than California Pizza kitchen and Dave and Buster's next door. Fast food speed and prices with a upscale dining atmosphere.

Love the vibe and energy MidiCi has. Music taste is amazing and it’s gorgeous. They love Nutella and both deserts offer it. We ate “The Meats” pizza and I’ve never had anything like it but it was DELICIOUS! The Nutella Calzone was incredible I brought the rest home and I’m about to finish it 🤤 they have an outside area with a fireplace to sit next to. Definitely recommend! Perfect first date place too!

We love wood fired pizza so we were excited to try MidiCi. The Italian salad was delicious, and it certainly wasn’t a wimpy portion! The margherita pizza was delicious and the mozzarella was perfection. The only knock we had was that my salad came out 10 minutes before my husband got his pizza. It was worth waiting for but I had basically finished eating by the time he started! But again, worth the wait. Delicious!

This place was excellent and exceptionally delicious I highly recommend it. Staff was very friendly and all about Friends is what this fantastic place was about. Offering beer and wine wood fired pizza , cheeses and fine meats. Superbly open and friendly with a roaring fireplace cozy atmosphere. I felt very welcomed from the moment I walked in and was greeted by the owner who recommend delish dishes at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place for a date night or friends just wanting to enjoy there own company.

Here's the thing about MidiCi. You walk in and everything about it feels sleek and modern. Music. Ambiance. Decor. But don't be mistaken, this is traditional wood-fire oven Italian pizza. Paper-thin yet flavorful crust, just the right amount of browning. It even comes out with a little card that encourages you to "Enjoy it the true Italian way, with a fork and knife." But I could NOT do that. Why? I took one carefully carved bite with a fork, then immediately picked up the entire slice and started shoving it into my mouth. It was just that good. Did I mention that I'm vegan? I almost fell out of my seat when I called and they told me they don't only carry vegan cheese, they also carry vegan sausage. I legit feel like I'm in some sort of alternate vegan dreamland. Pizza is not allowed to taste this good as a vegan. This place seriously just checked all of the right boxes for me. I wandered in by myself after work and every single employee I talked to was delightful. From the prompt way they cleared my table, to the girl singing along to the tasteful music as she swept the floor, it was just an excellent experience from start to finish. Dare I say MidiCi is now the best food option at Gateway? Absolutely. Dare I say MidiCi now offers SLC's best vegan option? F*ck yeah I do. Try the house-made chili-infused oil. It's a great time.

This is an amazing addition to the Salt Lake food scene. Unique atmosphere with authentic Italian wood fired pizza. The original pizza. Fantastic options for vegetarians, vegans, and salad lovers. Something for everyone.

I am so excited to finally see this place open. MidiCi has long been my favorite Neapolitan Pizza joint. I’ve eaten in their locations in California and Dallas. Simply awesome eats! Just like I’ve had in Europe.

A place were you will like to spend with friends or date with great authenticity and calzones. You can't go wrong with ambience too.
