Best. Experience. Ever. !!!!!! I've NEVER been so happy with a sushi experience. The ambiance here is stunning, the service was just wonderful, and the food was AMAZING! It feels so high end, yet the prices were perfectly reasonable. They obliged my request for a spicy chef's choice veggie roll on soy paper without batting an eye! And it was amazing. I've been to a dozen or so sushi joints around the valley, and besides Sushi Groove, they always give me grief at that request, and I'm always disappointed. There was not a single thing I would change about this experience. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, and the food presentation was also just stunning. I couldn't recommend this place more. Ten stars! I have a euphoric feeling because I'm so totally satisfied with my experience. <3 <3 <3
This is an amazing restaurant. We went here for the Sushi making class taught by Soy. He was very interactive and knowledgeable. He ensures that students grasp the concepts of the art of crafting Sushi rolls. After the class we sat at the Sushi bar where our chef 'Jeremy' engaged us in pleasant conversation and crafted two custom rolls for my wife and I. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again soon and highly recommend this restaurant! They serve the best Sushi in the Salt Lake Valley by far!
I meet the Murray Chamber of Commerce here every Thursday and absolutely love the food!!! The service is professional and quick, and works with everyone to get their orders during the meeting. I love their egg-drop soup, the beef teriyaki, and any of their rolls.
The atmosphere is great, the owner is kind, and the staff is excellent. Can't go wrong here for Sushi or Asian cuisine!
Great service later at night, accommodated our large group well. The sushi was decent, not the most amazing sushi I've had, but certainly not the worst. We had a 1/2 off coupon, which ended up saving us a lot of money for our large group. 4/5, would definitely go back.

The food and decor was amazing. The service was just awful. The first time I went there, the service was fantastic but then I went there again a few months later and the service was the worst I've ever experienced so far when eating out. I waited about 10 min for drinks (didn't bother me too much), about 40 min for food (now I'm a bit agitated and I'm usually a patient, calm person), then we were done and waited about another 40 min for the check. The other waitresses seem to just stare at us even though it was completely obvious that we were done. We sat there doing nothing, we even ran out of drinks and still sat there doing nothing. You think a waitress would tell the waitress serving us to tend to us but nope, we sat there for an extra 40 min (I'm really not exaggerating here) for the check. I've never had a dine-in experience that lasted me 2 hours when 80% we sat there bored out of our minds. This experience just killed it for me, first time was wonderful, second and last time was just the worse experience in my life.
Best sushi I've had in Utah!! I sat at the bar and told the sushi chef what I liked and he custom made rolls for me all night. Fresh fish! Creative chef! No need for a menu and that says a lot in my book!
Attended the sushi class and had an amazing time. Great atmosphere, excellent quality of food to work with, and makes for a great date night. The waiting list is usually pretty long but they usually have people who drop out last minute. It is worth giving a shot!
Delicious and.. DOG friendly! I love it!! Perfect date night. Walk the dog and enjoy great, great sushi! Oh and the service is excellent! I will DEFINITELY be a regular! (did I mention 50% of ALL specialty rolls..always!)
The sushi here is surprisingly delicious! The happy hour deal is great and such a good value! The atmosphere is actually very soothing and open. It's a great experience all around!
