This Oxaqueno restaurant is really good. We tried their popusas, and they were good. I tried the grasshopper popusas, and it was weird. I did not find any flavor, but I just wanted to give it a try. The empanadas de leches are good; the horchata oaxaqueña and atole de elote are good. The place looks clean from the inside, and the customer service is great.
My experiences here have been nothing short of fantastic. The experience is always pleasant and friendly. Everything is prepared fresh to order which makes the product taste incredible. I’ve had a few pupusas and they are always delicious and packed generously with whatever filling you order. The frijol is my favorite. I love the garnishes too. The spicy salsa is flavorful and bold and pairs perfectly with the flavor of the pupusa. Can’t recommend a visit enough.

The pupusas were wonderful and the cabbage and salsa to accompany was great. Very affordable for the quality. I personally loved the plantains and crema but my friend from Caribbean felt they were too soggy compared to what she’s used to.
Cafe Guanaco's Pupusas are excellent. Some of the best I've had. Nice and thick with plenty of filling. Served with as much cortido as you can eat.
The food was great - delicious and generous portions. The service was awesome too - they took the time to explain what several menu items were that we were unfamiliar with. Will definitely be back.
I came with my family today! The food was amazing, the service it’s wonderful. Taquitos dorados crunchy and perfect to the taste. And a big applause to the pupusas, the chicken pupusas, the asada pupusas, the cheese pupusas amazing, so I totally recommend to eat there and ask for those things. The wings are juicy and also crispy, so if you want a homemade Mexican-Salvatorian flavor in your day come to this restaurant!

Came here for pupusas and it was a wise choice! The food was great pupusas filled with tons of cheese and meat! 2 pupusas were enough to fill me up! Really great place. And quick service. Definitely recomend this place, will come back for more!
Excellent food. I have enjoyed everything I have eaten at Cafe Guanaco. My favorites are the chicken soup, pupusas, plantains with cream and cheese. And the hot chocolate is amazing! Family run business...I love to support these excellent people.
