I lived in El Paso, Texas for most of my life. El Paso is world renowned for Mexican food. This place is the best in SLC. I'm so glad I found this place. I will be back again and again.
Me & family love coming here when ever we get the chance. The best Mexican food by far.
Incredible food, wonderful atmosphere, below my average service. The reason for the low grade on service, was only a result of the person who had our table. We did tho in while it was busy with the lunch service, and this is when top-of-your hand needs to kick in, then follow through to the wrap. Customer service is essential to what a customer, such as I, look for. We did have some really nice employees who checked with us...very pleasant, and appreciated.
All-in-all, I wouldn't scratch this establishment out. The food was wonderful!
Coming from Colorado, this was a place my team recommended, and the place did not disappoint. The chips and salsa were served as you sit, with the salsa being just spicy enough for you to continue to want more. The food was amazing and the service was kind and quick. We came during lunch rush, and was served in a timely manner. I had the lunch special chicken chimichanga served with beans and a delicious Spanish rice, all for 12.00. Really enjoyed it. The plants at the front are amazing and very loved.
This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. I love how friendly and quick the staff are. They always make sure you have a great time. In a world of birria be a carnita
Group of 11 ... I had the shrimp fajitas
Excellent and fresh. Loved the fajitas and hot steamy plate. Was busy but everyone was taken care of
I'd definitely give this place a try. We all got the menudo. It was too spicy for me and my son. But had great flavor and a good serving size. We do wish it was served with more hominy and no bone. But I do know people who love the bone so I wasn't upset about it. Bread was an extra charge too. But overall we all enjoyed it.
The whole experience took me back to Cancun, special memories of an adventure we lived for 3 years there on the beaches of Puerto Morelos.
First, I don’t like paying for chip refills. I don’t know why.. I’d rather pay an extra dollar for my meal then get charged for another tiny bowl of chips and salsa. I know it’s only 50 cents, but I do t like it. They are delicious though…TASTY!!
Service was not great. We sat waiting for said chips and salsa for 15 min. Not a great start.
Now I do see why all the great reviews because this place produces great Mexican food. It was delicious. Portions were great too.
I was leaning toward a 3 star review but my tummy is to happy for that.
Enjoy.
A nice size place with 2 large rooms. Menu was a mix of authentic stand byes and Tex Mex. Very good salsa and chips. The 7 seas soup had many ingredients and was very interesting in the variety. A very big bowl, I could not finish.
The smothered burritos were so good. Better than any place I’ve been to in salt lake. The owner is a good guy!
The food was delicious.. everyone enjoyed. The only down point, we waited 1 1/2 hours before being served due to two very large groups. I felt a bit sorry for the servers - they were literally running to do the best they could. Plus it was a Friday night. The food truly was wonderful, and large servings .
