Very friendly staff, having heard it's the closest cuisine that gets near to Indian cuisine. Hands down, the spices are very similar and the blue mile did a great job of my first time experience with the Ethiopian cuisine. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended

Delicious Ethiopian food in Salt Lake City can be hard to find. Blue Nile is the place to go. Get the veggie platter, sambusas, and baklava. It's plenty for two healthy eaters at around $20. I've never done it myself, but I hear the coffee ceremony is great.

I just dined here a week ago--fantastic service and food in (what seemed to me) a hole-in-the-wall building. They have worked to create a nice atmosphere inside, and the server was incredibly helpful (since I was not familiar with Ethiopian cuisine). The food ranged from delicious mild dishes (I cannot recommend highly enough their appetizers of fried crust with lentils inside!) to the slow-burning, delectable spicy meat dishes. They have many vegetarian options as well! If you want to try something new for a great price, this is the place!
