Quiet place for hosting events with the renovations of temple square. I am sure less people are using this as their reception and dining right now until the Salt Lake Temple reopens. Good food and good service. They were very accommodating for my gluten and dairy free dietary restrictions! Thank you!

I believe that this building is going to be closed very soon for remodeling. It is a historic site that I would encourage anyone who would enjoy Utah history to include in their visits. It has a lot to offer.

The Nauvoo restaurant is good food. It was reasonably priced. It was delicious. It was fresh which I really liked and the atmosphere of the old hotel Utah was beautiful and I got to see a few of the old things that aren't under construction which was nice. Not much has changed, it is amazing how well things were put together so many years ago. I wish it was still a hotel. She could easily be the finest hotel in the city. It's worth the trip to come up and to see the changes they are making to the downtown area. The parking is wonderful, very accessible. And made our trip downtown super simple even though all the streets in almost every direction has something going on. I'm sure after you come downtown you'll understand what I mean. But do come downtown. It is worth a moment of your family's time.

The view from the top floor is iconic. Been here many times. But my most recent visit was fascinating, as you get a great view of all the construction taking place on the temple and throughout the square.

This building is worth coming into if only to see the lobby. It's as ornate as you'd expect from that period, and beautifully maintained. You can sit and listen to somebody play the piano, or just take a break in the air-conditioning. Then there are other amenities--a cafe, a rooftop restaurant (which is being remodeled), sometimes a movie, and other events. This was formerly the Hotel Utah, now converted into offices for the Church that owns Temple Square.

Went out here with my son between General Conference sessions. First off, "The Roof" has a fantastic view of Temple square. You can see all the LDS patrons as they exit out the conference center. It was a perfect day for every event taking place. The staff consistently stopped by to ensure we were comfortable and needed anything. The food selection was fantastic. Our waitress knew their selections well and have great recommendations what to get next when I asked. I'm so glad they are open between conference sessions to make it a wonderful experience. Foods and desserts are well worth it.

Went to a luncheon which was held in a lower conference room. Food was beyond delicious--hot and savory with a side of cheesecake and fruit. Waitstaff is polite and attentive, paying attention to the little details while we received training. The rolls are almost half a loaf and definitely my favorite!

It’s a beautiful building and is offered to the public for events such as wedding luncheons and receptions. I had my wedding reception here and so did my cousin. There are various rooms to choose from, and mine was in the Empire Room on the main floor. I didn’t have to work with the staff, but the reception was good and people seemed to like the place.

This is an awesome building. No temple tour or walk is complete without going to the tenth floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial building and seeing the Salt Lake City Temple at eye level. If you've never been it something everyone should try at least once and if you're a photographer there aren't a lot of better angles of the temple than the tenth floor observation room.

This building is so beautiful and amazing! I'm glad the L.D.S. church saved it. The views are great both day and night from the 10th floor, it's a must if you are checking out the sights of downtown Salt Lake City. The restaurants are very good as well. I have been to some amazing wetting receptions there thought the years it's a great place for those type of gatherings.
