My husband and I got the Raman, and Gyudon and we ordered several appetizers (curry potsticker, Koko potsticker, and a salmon rice ball) The gals behind the register were very welcoming and answered our questions with a smile. We will definitely be back.

A quaint, cozy Japanese restaurant in a more suburban part of town.
Upon entry, I was met with the busy ambiance of people happily conversing and slurping their noodles.

I ordered the special: Kimchi Ramen for a very reasonable $8.50
. Very distinct kimchi flavor: I was afraid it'd be diluted in the soup. Killer pork recommendation from the cashier: slight char for crispness, great flavor. Seaweed is a nice addition.

The selection is incredible here. There's ramen, there're rice meals, there's curry, there's sushi. Goodness, I will have to come back more often to see what else I can try.

All i can say is that this place has the best ramen! There's been a few ramen places popping up in the valley as it is getting more popular now and they have nothing on this place. The noodles are a perfect texture and thickness. The price for what they charge for a bowl of ramen is not too shabby. And they have a huge selection of food and I love the separate sushi bar in the back of this place.

This place oozes comfort. It has a homely atmosphere, and the staff are all very kind. Their ramen is the most delicious I have ever tasted. The meat is tender, the naruto is fishy and yummy, and the actual noodles are chewy and thick. The broth warms you right up. Koko's also has a selection of Japanese drinks, such as Ramúne and Calpico, as well as some yummy green teas. Their sushi is pretty good as well, but it needs some more flavor. The texture is pretty good though. I highly recommend it!

Surprisingly Good. We were a little worried about the quality of sushi or maybe the freshness before walking into Koko. The outside is pretty rundown and the kitchen area could be a lot cleaner and have less clutter. But the food smelled good and the sushi station seemed to be quite clean so we went for it (after a short discussion outside the front door). Well I am still alive, the sushi seemed fresh and tasted great, I was very satisfied with my meal. I would definitely return and would encourage others to give it a try (and also for the owners to keep the kitchen and surrounding areas a bit cleaner).

Fantastic Ramen. Our party of 5 included a 5 and 7 year old with great palates. We were excited to finally try Koko's and we were not disappointed. It was delicious. We ordered the pork ramen, beef ramen and gyoza. Broth was perfectly seasoned-ramen generous and chock full of meat. We got there at 11.30am and place was full by 12:15;I would recommend arriving right at 11.30am. Next time and there will be many times-I am looking forward to the sushi and trying other items on the menu. The aroma of the other dishes was very tempting of the numerous other diners. Best ramen we've had in Utah so far!

I quickly learned that my eyes are much bigger than my stomach. Ordered the Jumbo Pork Ramen along with a Spam Musubi and a Ume Rice Ball. When I was younger I could eat all that. Definately not now. The ramen was excellent. I've been to a group of ramen shops and I rate this place pretty high. Quality and taste are worth while.

Great food. Their udon is great and the prices are hard to beat. BUT the guy who takes orders (he's always in a green beenie) is A HUMONGOUS JERK. Youre lucky if he actually looks up at you while taking your order. He just seems to hate his job - I've been there on three different occasions and he's in the same nasty mood every time.

Cozy place, good for dining alone as well as with friends. If you’re planning to order ramen go with a small portion unless you sharing with 1 or 2 other people. I had delicious tofu ramen and even though I was starving I left half of noodles in the bowl. Everything is also quite cheap. $8.50 for a regular ramen ~$13 for a jumbo ramen (can feed 2-3 people)

It's one of the older and famous Japanese restaurant in the city. Price is very reasonable and the serving size is ample! We had the yakisoba and beef gyudon. I didn't find the food to be wow but it was good! I'll probably try th sushi bar next time.

The place looks nice, the menu lists a lot of items (I liked that!), the food was good, the only thing I didn't like was that the kimchi and the noodles on another dish were really really cold. Dumplings were particularly good.

Best ramen in the city! This place is awesome! Ton of menu items and everything is traditional. I wish I would have found out about this place sooner.

KoKo Kitchen is a very nice restaurant with a large selection, including vegetarian options. The plates are large and filling. While I wasn't fond of their tofu, their vegetable curry was amazing. It is a cozy, little restaurant, especially in the back with the sushi bar.

If you're looking for authentic Japanese cuisine for an affordable price, you have found the right place. This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant may look unassuming, but packs a wallop of a menu filled with flavor and great deals. Order at the counter for pickup or bring your tray to the beautiful, cozy backroom dining area for a friendly and thoroughly enjoyable experience. The amazing food, coupled with imported Japanese beverages and soft drinks, makes this restaurant as close as you can get to dining in Japan itself. To round it all out, the employees are friendly and eager to get their food to you. An absolute pleasure to have dinner here. Be aware that when we dined here, there were no children and quite a few couples. It is a small restaurant, so bringing young, noisy children is probably not the best idea.

Everything was so delicious. They have a lot of sitting areas inside and outside. I have been eating in this restaurant for 5 years now. And every time the staff has been super nice saying a Hi when you get in and a good bye with a thank you so much when you leave. They have a lot of options, including marked options in the menu for vegetarians/vegans and gluten-free people. It looks and tastes like what you can get in Japan. I highly recommend this restaurant for Japanese food lovers! Ps. They do have a bathroom you just have to ask. lol

The portions are huge, and the ramen place s delicious. I was pleasantly surprised! There was a neat sushi bar in the back, but the front was diner style. The kimchi was very good and not vinegar.

I love eating at Koko kitchen. Its uniqueness and simple beauty make me love spending time here. The food is always excellent and the service is just so consistently good, whether they're super busy or slow. Plenty of parking in their lot or on the street right near the restaurant. The prices for food are super low, especially considering the great quality. Love this place.
